Can liquid nutes go bad?

I'm using Foxfarms. Everything. I mix up a "Seedling/Clone" mixture, "Veg" mixture, "Veg to Flower" mixture and "Flower 1, 2 and 3" mixtures. My "Flower 3" is looking real dark and smells like rotten eggs. Has it gone bad? I remember living somewhere that the outside public watering systems smelled bad like this and the grass was beautiful. Has my "Flower 3" gone bad and should I throw it out? Or is it just fine...?

The base fertilizer is smelling bad? Or are you talking about fertilizer mixed with water? I'm pretty sure it was the FoxFarms people that someone called up and they said to smell the fertilizer and don't use it if it smelled bad. If it didn't smell that way when it was fresh, definately don't use it. Always use mixed fertilizer within a couple days at most. If refrigerated immediately, mixed ferts can stay good up to a few weeks.

The rotten egg smell is most likely from hydrogen sulphide that forms when anaerobic decomposition occurs... And that is bad, yes...

Bin the shit.

No the base is fine. It's this particular mixture. I may be keeping these for too long. I'll have to adjust my mixtures so that I use them up right away.

Thanks for the response. I'll throw it away tonight.
