Can nutrient solutions go bad over time/due to heat?

Hey Guys,

Just a quick one. I live in the tropics and its impossible to get nutes here locally. The only nutes I can get are Hesi liquid one part and they're posted from Holland. They take about 2-3 weeks to arrive and will often sit in the local post offices in 40+(c) degree heat.

I've often noticed that when shaking them I can hear lumps in the bottom, so I shake up as much as possible.

I'm having a grow not go very well at the moment (plants show nute deficiencies) so I just want to make sure that the nutes aren't part of the issue.

Is it possible they can go bad over time? Would it be better ordering powders and trying to mix them up myself?

Thanks,
J,

You’d be better off with dry nutrients. A lot of the bottled junk will say on the label keep from freezing and high heat.
