A F1 is a cross between 2 original cultivar. Ex: a female Thai (pure) cross to a male Afghani(pure). Now you have a brand new strain (F1) let’s call it Bingo, A F2 of Bingo (your new strain) is obtain by crossing a female Bingo(F1) to a male Bingo(F1). I have seen different company using P1-P2 or S1-S2 to my knowledge it’s just the same meaning as F1-F2.

no, s1 means selfed 1 or selfed 2, and is used for fem plants.. say you have a clone only that you want to make fem seeds from, you do what you do to make the plant hermie, and you self pollinate that plant with itself, giving you s1 seeds.. :D
good info on the f1's thoughh, and fyi, f stands for fillial..

so would a s2 be the result of the crossing of two s1's from the same plants clone
