i need to have a box to grow some nice beans :) with a carbon filter to stop the smell hidden in my closet, the box will be 2x2 wide and maybe 1-2metres tall, my only problem so far is what lighting should i use? i think the box will be far to small to fit a HPS in and im unsure of how to use CFL to get a nice yeild, the box will have maybe 1 or 2 plants in it can someone tell me what are some good cfl bulbs to use? do i need to get two diferent bulbs for veg then flowering? i looked at this website http://www.easygrow.co.nz/20-flourescent-bulbs and thought the 125watt growlight would work? or would i need the 2700k and the 6400k for both stages? please help!

use as many bulbs as you can. more smaller, lower wattage bulbs will do more for you than fewer, higher wattage bulbs. but if you can do a mix, go for that. you want 6500k bulbs for veg and 2700k for flower. i used one bulb of the alternate color temp for each period just to give a little bit more 'fuller' spectrum. as long as you have adequate ventilation, cfl's run very cool. you're going to want to keep them as close to the plants as possible. i've heard ~2" away is ideal, but i found keeping them 3-4 inches from the plants keeps stretching to a minimum but allows a lot more growth. it's almost like if the lights are too close, the plants have no motivation to grow any closer to the light.

I'd maybe use the 2 of them for exhaust and just a passive intake. you could try just one and see what your temps are like with lights on.
those fans look the biz tho :)
