Some people say it will make ur pH go out of wack. Personally molasses is said to thicken bud sizes if u use it the last 2 weeks or so before flushing instead of nutes. It does make sense, but becareful from bugs and shit due to sugar right? Just stick to the basic 1 tbs to 1 gallon of water and u should be fine. Anymore then that and ur just dumping sugar in there.

cheers mate.

Dont think you can burn your plant with it. I did a grow with one plant getting molasses and one not. The one being fed molasses ended up developing crystaline deposits on the stem. When i noticed this i cut back on the molasses, the 2 plants were harvested. And they were both a decent smoke. I would imagine if you really overdo it, then you could run into problems. But i am sure 1 tbsp per gallon is correct. I started at 1 tbsp per litre, as i had read a post on here and picked it up wrong. Best of luck mate.

I would think that if you really over did it the molasses could crystalise around the roots affecting nute take up as well? This is only a thought though. Not sure if it would happen or not though. Just a suggestion.

no my last grow i was just hearing about molasses i molased everything every way possible with no problemm

i had molasses in my trichomes came up bron and clear on first viewng i panicked and choped smoke was very mild then i realized must have been the mollasses

i like to experiment and I was doing a bubblelicious and a PPP i started with a table spoon during veag went up to about three tbalspoon at end of flower i misted with it the hole time veg and flower i flushed with it i could hardly break the buds up by hand had to use my grinder were so gunked up

taste was very smooth buds large swollen

now my thing is uvb light, and dutch master liquid light and penatrator ( pkg says mix with water i mix with seltzer and a skinch of food ) i like to experiment and only doing about a table spoon of mol per gal of food both veg and flwer

luck to you my brother

I over did it and it did nothing I think if you were to use it straight or at fifty percent or something it would be a problem but seems any intelegent mix works i was up to 3 tablespoons per gal with a mist going on and flushing with it with no bad results

only bad i member was i had to break up soil once on surface with a large grill fork used like a rake started to cake up and needed air interfered when watering water ran down edges of pot and soil

did have gooey buds and smooth taste only problem i think it somehow got in trichs and fooled me as a havest signal

good luck all

Putting too much mallases in can have a defernet bad effect on the plants it can cause burns.I over did it on one of my grows and the plant was hurting just add a small ammount after all mallasess is consentrated sugar so a little goes along way.Make sure that you still add the normal flowering nutrients and a few ml of mallasess. This stuff can also attract insect life so be careful when useing it.

average molasses npk is 1-0-5 so yes its a nute and you wont see the npk on the bottle because it isnt sold for plants. Miracle Grow Organic liquid fert has an NPK on the front and its derived from molasses.

seriously? You learn something new every day. I stand corrected!

Here is another way to look at it then. A cup of coffee would have an npk value, a piece of wood would have an npk value. Dont make them nutes though! Only kidding mate. I understand what you are saying.

Get some FoxFarms Cha-Ching.
I heard that shit works to fatten
those buds up in the last 2-3 weeks.
could probably use that with the certain
kind of "molassas". I think I read certain molassas
is better than others for the plant......

Dunno the details though
