I take cuttings from plants I have sexed by putting them into 12/12.
I don't like to try and root male clones so I stated to take them once I saw the first tiny pistils appear, to make certain that I wasted no time with male cuttings.
I think It takes longer for these cuttings to root and as mentioned above the failure rate is higher, also they go thru a longer transitional phase to get back to full vegetation....some of the leaves look weird, but after awhile they straighten out and do fine. I think this adds about a week to ten days to the veg cycle....they take a little longer to get to the size you want.
But they are all girls!
