Can we use vape mods for wax?

I recently bought a mod and tank, and first thing that hit me was throwing in concentrate... does anyone on here use mods for just juice - and have you tried thinning wax and using it in your tank?

I use a snow wolf 200w and billow v2 tank

Thing I can think of is mixing the juice with wax to dilute it...

Yeah. Horatio on hash church uses those. He blazes straight thca and terpenes. . All those guys are against the e juices and emj mixes. Because of the propylene glycol in it.

Peg 400 is supposed to help keep it from separating. Can go that and vg or just vg similar to making rick Simpson oil. Can get nail attachments instead of the tank too. The seego v hit ones work good and last better than the other cartomizers I've tried. They are cheap to like $13 on eBay $20 @ a lot of vapor stores around here. I'm sure some guys are using RDAs and stuff. I've made the liquid a couple of times and it worked. Mine just wasn't super potent then again I was trying to dissolve bubble hash into it.

Guess they changed the name or something can't find the seego but looks exactly like this but different package.

damn. thanks hy, wonder if there is a safer way to indulge....im liking the 70vg/30pg juices, but still doesn't make me feel good knowing that...

thanks skunky, that's a sweet way of doing it. I was looking for a way to use my tank exactly how I do with the juice, but having a nail head like that seems more for what were looking for... will have to look up what hyroot is talking about with hash church and see if there is a way how I can make a concentrate juice that is a little thinner to run.

hope to see you around more gk, bring growing back to the forums with whats left of us

Not everyone is comfortable with vaporizing VG, PG, or PEG, and breathing it. For instance, at least I and my SPR partners, as well as our licensed Pharm D, believe as time rolls on, more evidence will come to light showing downsides from drawing significant quantities into our lungs.

I seldom use an electronic pipe, but when I do, I use a electric skillet on my pipe, instead of a tank. That allows me to vaporize shatter and wax directly.

What's the big thing against PG?
I personally use Kosher PG/USP medical/food grade.

Using it for vaporizing with cannabis, there is no need for worry. If someone wants to worry about PG/USP and the decades of testing since it is used in asthma inhalants, I would worry about it being in a majority of processed foods and beverages in unknown amounts. Most everyone is exposed to it in a variety of ways every day. Don't count on them anytime soon saying PG/USP is bad, at least at the federal level. Giant corporations would lose billions immediately as PG/USP is used in food and beverage processing, as well as in many pharmaceutical products.

This is not to say that it is good for you, but to place all concern on it being used with cannabis is just ridiculous, especially when it comes to vaporizing concentrates.

Just my thoughts and opinions, not looking for a debate.

There is some concern with people like me who have quit tobacco and use an e-cigg all day long. It has been a few years and I can't say that I have had any problems. Feel much better than I did when I was using tobacco.

Vaping e-cannabis is awesome for stealth. PEG400 NF/USP is even more safe. It is accepted to be a safe product globally. Unfortunately, it is somewhat mandatory to add flavoring because the PEG400 does not taste good. I like the NF Organic flavorings from High Desert Vapes. The PEG mixture looks cooler and stays mixed better with alcohol concentrates, but the downside is it is thicker and does not work very well in a lot of vapes. It does work well with the AeroTank Mini.

I have heard a lot of feedback of the differences between BHO and alcohol extracts. I am only familiar with using alcohol extracts.

Don't get me wrong, I love vaping the oil straight too. Whether it is with a mechanical vape and KISS cart or an Eclipse Vape which I have been preferring lately. The Eclipse works better with the ND Sap I have been making. https://www.eclipsevape.com/store all you need is a basic torch lighter to use it effectively.

I enjoy it all when it comes to vaping. It can be expensive while figuring out what works best for you though.

Here is when I first started journaling my vaping experiences. Each unit has its pros and cons. https://www.z-labs.nl/community/blogs/entry/17-my-experience-with-portable-vaporizers-pen-vaporizers-for-concentrated-cannabis-oil-and-e-cigarette-oil/ I would have kept testing more products as they became available, but I cut my grow in have and no longer have the extra oil to test with anymore. There are so many new products out there now, like these for instance:

I try to keep my heavy e-cigg use as safe as possible. I purchase everything through High Desert Vapes. They order directly from the manufacturers. I use NF Organic flavoring, Vegetable Glycerine Nicotine Mix, and Kosher PG/USP so I know exactly what is in my e-cigg oil. I vape all I want for about $100 per year. Those pre-mixed e-cigg juice options with unknown flavor mixtures in the is what bothers me.

You can get Seego's full line from vape95.com but id recommend their SWAT atomizer for concentrates, it is not only the largest it is the most discreet and has the best flavor profile IMHO. Anyway the guys there are cool as cash and can answer any questions if you have any.

I was actually going to link that in here for anyone with the same questions. Think I've found everything I need to do it between here and reddit. Got a buddy that does his own juice and sells it so I'm gonna get with him about flavoring accordingly (to match the terp profile) and enough to mask the ej mix

To be honest i have no taste of PG or EJ. use the EJ very small amounts. not the 1ml the bottle says. I get all pure concentrate taste. Tho some flavoring would help mask the smell, but as i posted in there, i did make mine a bit to potent.

I have a mod but I never try it with wax. Personally, an aspire nautilus tank with 10-15w power (at 1:2 ratio) is good enough. As for the taste of juice, I think the quality of wax is the most important element of it. I never really got a bad taste juice with shatter, but I do got some nasty juice with crumble and sticky waxes. From my experience the Puff Majic's original mixer has some sort of floral flavor so it tastes better than the flavorless EJmix mixer. However, I recently switched to Mixerwhite cos I like their menthol tobacco flavor.

For me, the vape pen is just for on the go purpose. At home I always use SB wax beaker for concentrates :blsmoke:

What's the big thing against PG?
Update to my previous quoted comment.

When used lightly with cannabis concentrate I have no complaints with using PG/USP, besides, it mixes well with alcohol extracts I have worked with.

When it comes to e-cig oils, I guess I can say I have a complaint when using PG. I stopped using it with my e-cig oils and am now using 100% VG and have noticed a difference. I don't feel like I always have a frog in my throat, well, at least not as often. I was also getting irritation in my mouth and that has stopped when going to 100% VG with my e-cig oils. I chain vape my e-cig and consume more than 3 grams per day of e-cig juice.

It is all personal preference when it comes to e-cannabis mixes. You can use VG with cannabis concentrates, but you need a homogenizer to get it to mix and stay mixed.

This is what I have been vaping on lately with my cannabis oil mix. About 20% PG and 80% QWISO that contains all of the terpenes since no heat was used in the processing.
This is my favorite rig for 2016. It does take experience. I highly recommend practicing with e-cig oils before using cannabis oil mixes. The Geekvape Griffin tank, dual coil set up, make your own coils. The difficult part is with the wicking, it must be done just right. I got the hang of it after a while. It is my all time favorite for e-cannabis and e-cigs. It is attached to my favorite mod. The most convenient to use, does not tip over easily, no lost magnetic battery covers, it has very user friendly functions, the Eleaf iStick Pico. I am loving it!
