Can you add extra water to a nutrient reservoir?

I am sure the answer is yes but it would be nice to be certain. I use the 3 bottle set from General Hydroponics & obviously micro goes in the water first. I highly doubt it since I'm just diluting it even more, but is it fine to add water after to make the dose lower (with adding PH Up/Down to the extra water of course)? Or does this do something like the reason why micro goes in first? Thanks in advance.

Yea, you can add water without feed. You'll have to eventually when the ppm/ec rises until you get the feed adjusted to where the plant likes it.

Misunderstood me :), I explain what I do. Some of my plants are smaller and require less nutrients. Instead of making 2 batches, I make 1, feed the plant that needs this high of a dose, then add the extra water after to lighten the dose for the smaller plants. Curious if adding extra water to the already made nutrient mix causes issues of any kind. Thanks :).

Gotcha. If it's hard water, you can add to many minerals depending on how much you add.

If you are checking ppm/ec, just add water til you get it where you want it.
