Can you bring plants indoors on nights that are too cold?

Hey I posted a similar thread to this earlier but wasn't specific enough. I have 3 plants (well three and a half) that have been flowering now since late August. I live in the southern part of Maine where its starting to get into the mid 40's at night which I understand stunts the plants growth. So my question is should I bring my plants inside at night? Is it okay for the plants to be constantly going from outdoors in the day and in my house at night? Or what should I do? Thanks in advance and PS I do not own any grow lights.

Okay, the added info helps... The plants are used to getting natural light only. Bringing it in will only help the plant have a chance of finishing up before it gets stunted from being out in the cold. The plant won't suffer a bit by going into a warmer place at night so long as it's not 85 or higher inside. Make sure they are in a room that doesn't have any light in it - They need to keep the same length of time in darkness as they are getting now.

I'm going to say leave it out. I personally think pot that goes through the fall cold weather it better.

Give this a read. Its worth it.

Cannabis is a hardy plant. Forget most of what you read.

I have had had indicas flower in the 90-s to low 100's.
I have had sativas handle frost in the 20's. It lost most the fans but kept a trucking.

Some of the best smoke I ever had come from plants that have been trampled by horses, live through a drought or early frost.

They do better in the cold planted in the ground. Spread straw for mulch and insulation. If it is in a pot wrap it to insulate the root zone.

I always plant on a south facing hill at higher elevation. Cold air sinks. The difference in elevation can equal 6-10 degrees in temp. I plant in thickets with black berries and honey suckle. As the cannabis gets bigger than the surrounding vegetation I let some of the vines and what not grow close to the stalk and in the branches. Just a few, even some honey suckle in it. It works as insulation and camouflage.

I have had to study for a second to find plants I planted.

Sorry to be so lengthy. I thought I would give my thoughts on it.

Theyre talking 20s(freeze) in Northern Maine...that's a different beast! I'd bring them in(shed) for the night and put them back out in the am
In my area its just a frost ⚠...
Im welcoming it as it'll be the icing on my cake(MOB) and will bring out color in the others... I'm dreading next weekends forecast tho(rain)

This was super helpful to know I can bring the ladies in at night!! Especially since I’m in a area where you constantly have to worry about someone being to lazy or dumb to bother to just grow their own.. (ESPECIALLY since it’s finally legal now!!‍..) but instead they rather just run up and snatch all your hard work and time that’s been invested in under a minute or two.. so knowing that I’m not going to bring any harm upon them will definitely help my sleep cycle tonight for the first time in a few weeks now!! Lol, Thanks y’all!!
