I've grown a bit of bud under standard led bulbs..they work great. I was hitting a gram a watt dependably. They're a great plug and play option for a new grower...and imo 2x as efficient as cfl's
I've since upgraded to diy cob leds and couldn't be happier. I've seen a 60% increase in yields for the same amount of wattage. The price ends up being about the same too, even with high end cobs(watt for watt). They are much easier to setup then you think...I found it easier then installing a carstereo.
