Can you have more than one plant in a pot?

There are 4 or 5 plants sprouting in one cup. I don't know know if they should be separated now before the roots begin to intertwine? It is currently day 2 of the grow. I don't want to put too much stress on them, but I don't see how this could work out. Any input would be great.

it is not a good practice. generally 1 per pot, if you had a large enough pot and knew they were females you could grow them in the same pot. separate those as soon as possible.
