Can You Help a Girl Out?

I posted this in hydro forum but I thought u all may be me some more answers

I have some nute burn so I am flushing in an ebb n flow system with distilled water. My run out PH is higher than the reservior PH. Am I correct in assuming that the point of flushing is to have the Run out ph and reservior ph the same and if I do that, then I have properly flushed.

Do you all recomment feeding full stregnth nutrients after flushing or half? I am going to flush for about a day, is that long enough?

Oh yeah and I'm about 4 weeks into flowering so I'm like freaking out, my plants havent gotten yellow and brown around the edges of the leaves and kinda stopped growing.

THANKS FOR THE HELP:peace:

how you doin mizz, yikes! four weeks in huh? well, a humble opinion here I do ebb and flo, what medium are workin with? wool or pellets or both? I would flush a day and nute back startin at 50% ratio to just give em a chance to swallow the guzzle they got and work my way slowly up , always keepin in mind what the ppm or ec readin was when they burned ofcourse and stayin away from that, anyway at 4 weeks in you will be reducing slowly soon and flush at least the last weeks to get taste up to par right? so maybe its not that bad and they'll adjust nicely considering the time frame is pretty much right on. so flush 1 and 50% nute after sounds like the right path to this grower anyway. but again humble opinion

I have limited knowledge with flushing in hydro, I don't understand why your trying to gauge your flush by ph? Test the tds/ec of the runoff vs. that of the res to see if you are still leaching nutes out of the medium. And from my reading i would reccomend a 1/2 strenth solution after you flush.

Best of luck

Thanks for the responses.

I'm using both, the original growing rock wools in clay pellets. I dont have a ppm reader because everything was going soooooooo well until this point so my nutrients were always on point.

I am also gaging the ph during my flush to see if I have properly flushed the salt or whatever I'm trying to flush out.

50% afterwards eh? thats what I thought :-)

Thanks alot for the help.

anymore suggestions appreciated

well ppm's or ec is down. If ur initial PH is within 5.2 to 6.2 with ofcourse 5.8 being the hit, and going in that way. Once a 24 hour flush is done, going in with a 50% ratio. I wouldn't stay stuck on PH and runoff for now , if u had severe nute defenciency then i would go for PH all out just to check if salt accum. is the reason for nute blocage but in this case I think its a matter of having overdone it so just pasing back to a reasonable position with a good apology to the babies by flushing them out real good, I think is where its at, its like the first advice I always give is.... take a deep breath and relaxe before reacting, cuz sometimes we drive ourselves nuts for no reason and overcompensate, yes weed is fragile to a point , but shit its a survivor so i think it can easily be remedied..... pics would be cool too Mizz, its easier to see whats up wit it.

and now yes I will let others answer....lol

Good Advice thanks, I flushed last night and this morning so I'm going to do 50% nutes tonight

I hope it works, so close to harvest and my poor girls are dying.
