big question is why cant you ? lot of people do this . its expose to being out quality . personally i never seen any difference at all running a 400 watt mh along with a 1000 wat hps same as running the hps alone . this is my opinion only . every set up will be different . for led . you may add yield . i would turn them all on . go for it crank every light on you have .

knock ya self out!

keep in mind that in nature

seed set is done in fall

as there's falling light

sun lower down is mostly red /2700k

hormones in the plant like that red light

it encourages stretch and the actual seedset

or budding process

good luck

Sure you can. The broader and more complete the spectrum your plants receive the better. But not sure a cheap $30 LED will help much. Quality lighting is where it really counts.

Shop round for a more fuller spectrum 1000watt rather than mess around with small lights.

Sunlight in the fall is still quite full spectrum just more reds.

You would be better off with a few 4ft t5 pureuv bulbs or a few 4 ft 10,000K+uva bulbs. The uva bulbs can run full time. The pure uv run it a few min on every hour.

Just what I was looking for, wasn't sure about running the UVA+ bulbs full time in flowering. What about, veg? 24 hrs ok? 1 uv,2 pure par,1 6500k.
I run the 10k+uva from start to finish.

If using any type of uv run it from start to finish, even the pure uv run a few minutes on the hour.

They have to defend against the uv. That defense is what we are after.
