No reason it shouldn't, just clean the fk outa it. Need a pump capable of 5psi....Seperate cooling system is sweet!

If I was to do it I wouldn't get a used one I'd buying brand new one for under 60 bucks and figure out a way to make a fan that pulls the heat out of it like on a car
if you are at the phase where you might need one in the future, check on craigslis for a used aquarium chiller. for that much money, you should be able to find a used one given that you don't need one ASAP. we have stores in denver that sell nothing but used hydro equip for cheap.
