can you water too much in a germination dome/heating mat rockwool?

i have the heating mat on constantly and it keeps on evaporating all the water on to the dome top and the rockwool medium is get from dry to dampish dry. so i keep dumping 1/4 gallon of water into the germiantion tray every two-3 hrs. i dont want to water log it

just poor out the water in the germination thing. it had like a gallon of water in it and i ddint even squeeze the rockwool just tipped it over a sink. open a seed i had germed and had just barely cracked this morning and been in the station for 6 hrs or so and it already had a long tail and the shell was almost completely open to sprout. damn that was fast.

u dont wanna over water your plants if you got clones growing in there, although am unsure what u got in there, as if they got loads of water they wont need to grow long roots to search for water :) GW
