It comes from a diet heavy on fresh water shrimp, found in the cold high mountain lakes here. I'd guess that lake is cold enough, too.

When i was 14 we found a boat at a garage sale for 5 bucks, bought it went out to the lake, got out to the middle started fishing realized there was no plug and it also leaked in a few places

The boat was aluminum and the benches were even cut out hah

I used to do that, i would go into mexican waters and fish, come home, no problem. Now, you need a passport to go back and forth.

Rainbow kinda describes the fish to a tee, it does have some pink the bulls are brown

It's why flamingos are pink, as well. (Brine shrimp)

If by "bulls" you're talking about Bull Trout aka Dolly Vardens, they are a char and normally have darker meat than Rainbows or Browns.
