Grass... That if you knew what you were doing, could be used the same as the rootbark of this plant:

i have used this hybrid in ornamental gardens. it runs like bamboo. so then i put it in large pots and buried the pots down to 4" above the ground. it doesn't jump over. i like the green and white. it brightens up dark spots in the garden.
