Candy curing!?

Okay I'm gonna try something when i start my curing process. What I plan to do is grab some dried pineapples drop a few in one of my curing jars for a day or so...Has anyone ever tried this if so what way did you do it and how was the taste of your medicine? I will find some way to put it in without it actually touching the bud.

If you pee on freshly harvested bud & let it dry/cure as usual your bud will have a pissy smell to it.

Why would you mess up perfectly good buds with some pineapples or some other flavor than what you grew? Good Luck dirrtyd

I think it would mess up your curing. It would either still have enough moisture left in it to promote mold growth, or it would suck up excess moisture, drying your buds out and keeping the pineapple moist enough to promote growth... you get where im going with this?

You can put some dried and cured bud into a jar with a couple of altoids sour tangerine candies over night and it'll make your bud kinda citrus tasting.

I read you need to put chese cloth over the top of the jar put your fruit peel in there and let the lid suspend the fruit above the weed in the jar.

quite frankly i think its a scumbag move to put shit in with your curing process....if you have an inferior product better step your game up!

I would agreee with you with one comment. I have gotten some stuff that smells and tastes just like lemon I mean like lemon in a corona lemon. I always wondered if it was the strain or the curing process. Shit was good, if I have some just flat out stuff that gets me stoned why not try to sweeten the taste up a bit if it does not hurt the effects? We, as people, put sweetners in just about everything we eat drink or wear. Our lives are perfumed so to say from deoderant to better tasting tooth paste why not juice up the weed?

weed doesn't need that we have worked taste, look, smell into the genetics of the plant and I believe you should cultivate to enhance those respects. Marijuana is like a fine wine, cultivators work very hard to bring the best product to market and they command a very high price. I believe that adding shit to enhance flavor or weight during curing is like adding flavor to wine (then you would have boones farm or arbor mist). I think its fine if its for your own personal pleasure, but dont try to sell me shit thats artificially flavored. I find by adding molasses during flower you enchance the sweetness of the bud (and yield!) Thats all you need...granted I'm a fully organic guy

I see both sides of this recent debate: On the one, chris, its your bud and if you wanna sweeten it up that way, why not? beej, on your hand, you're right, you would have the cannabis equivalent of boone's farm, which most wine drinkers call piss but that shit's on the shelf which means some people like the way it tastes. I agree if your endgame is to sell it as nicer herb or play it off like that's how it naturally tastes/smells without your little pineapple concoction you're being a dishonest dick, but nothing like that was suggested. and, for the molasses comment (which i totally agree and do myself!!), that is something done during the growing process, and, if we consider the cure as part of the total operation then this could be seen as just one more optional step some people decide to do.
all in all, i'm for au natural, but to each his own! different strokes for different folks!
be easy
