Candy with budder

So I made some candy with some budder this morning. The recipe was found on rollitup. The problem is that when I added the jello mix, the budder started to separate from the candy. Anybody else have this happen? Anybody know how to prevent it? I followed the directions exactly... I even bought a candy thermometer so the temp was 275 degrees when removed from heat. I ate piece earlier and it hasn't kicked in after 1/2 an hour. Any advice would be appreciated. I am gonna try to make carmels and brownies later today, but I really like the candy because it travels great and can be concealed and eaten on the sly...

No clue about the separation but for me it can take up to 2 hours to start feeling the effects of medibles.

your going to have to know your dose amount before making candy... I personally need about 1g+ of bud per edible to get my desired results most candy recipes I have tried dont call for enough oil for me to get a potent batch from unless I make the oil using hash. and then I would need about .15-.25g hash per edible for myself so I would add that amount of hash to the oil to make my dose rather then trying to make it out of trim/buds..
