Because i grow in soil. Canna aquos is used for a hydro setup.

yeah i kind of figured you were in soil, but it just seems real pointless to me growing in soil and using non organic nutes?

I'm afraid you've been misled somewhere, canna terra is not organic, you really want to be using bio canna

Dutch soil nutrient
One part Grow (Vega) and Bloom (Flores) nutrient designed for growing in soil. shit, i have been using canna terra thinking it was 100% organic...thanks for posting this!

i am using the canna aqua range with RO water. shiiiiittt...
i couldn't get anywhere emailing canna with my problems so i searched the net hi and low...
basically my ph was going outside the stated range on the bottles even though i was mixing them correctly . At one point i was having to correct it every 24 hrs
but i thought it was engineered to stay within the optimum growth range ???????????????????????????????????
My plants also quickly started to show yellowing leaves with burnt tips
and slow growth
...alrighty then...
heres what i know from looking around elsewhere
The type of water you use is very important
canna aqua is designed for use with tap water with an ec value of between 0.2 - 0.4
however it is possible to use just ro water but not if you want to use an airstone too.
this is because oxygenation messes with the ph buffers and subsequently the ph value wanders
significantly within 24 hrs.
Using canna aqua in a DWC system should be fine, use tap water if you don't want problems with ph
preparation... what canna advises is after initially mixing A-B, PK, cannazym and rhizotonic
If you are using pure ro water you'll need to add cal-mag at 4ml per gallon, plants in my experience quickly become
deficient in calcium and magnesium using ro - yellowing, brown spotting , wilt, burnt tips, etc...
leave for at least 1 hour to allow the various elements to do their thing and stabilize. After that set the ph and off you go...
Having worked out my ph and cal-mag issues now i'd say the canna aqua range seems like a great set of products, my plants are loving it
and i guess thats all that really counts

substituted. Although Aqua is for recirculating systems its a good idea to change
the solution every week to 10 days unless you want to start adding hydrogen peroxide
to deal with algea build up
Once you read canna's grow schedule the 1-250 or whatever it is written on the bottles
becomes meaningless do follow their mixing instructions and mix each part individually

hi mate was having the exact same problems using canna aqua and using 0tds pure ro water again after reading high and low i got it sorted the best thig to do is mix the ro water with tap water 50/50 now its all sorted i get my mix ready let it setlle for a hour or so and set the ph bingo job done it stays perfectly in range hope this helps

im using canna aqua with dwc airstone but keep getting this on older leaves unless i flush. subssequently the plants just die if dont do that but i think it might be calcium deficiency and magnesiium ph is at 5.6 so i add epson salt to compensate. half teaspoon per gallon, in a 5 gallon bucket about 3.75 gal nutes at half strength. using 105w cfl to veg.
