Cannabinoid composition of hash compared to bud

Made some bubble hash from my last couple of grows. Was reading something the other day and got to wondering.

I notice the hash I made has a much more social/cerebral high when compared to the bud I made the hash out of, which is more of a stoner high, and I was wondering how the hash making process effects the composition of the cannabinoids.

(I read a post that hash takes on the same cannabinoid composition as the marijuana plant you make the hash from, but this didn't seem right)

Maybe it doesn't have anything to do with the hash making process, but how the THC degrades after the fact? Not sure.

Anyone have an informed opinion on this matter? Anyone have a link they can share on the differing levels of cannabinoids and how they can affect the high?

Thanks

The hash should be just as good as the weed it came from. When making the hash you may have weakened/degraded the thc.

It's not that the hash isn't good, it's fantastic... it's just that it's not the same kind or type of high, and I'm 'assuming' that it's because of different cannabinoid levels, but I'm unsure.

Could also be that hash burns different than bud!

Could be that your that high! LOL

Try it when its your first smoke of the day. You may have siked yourself out by thinking that it would be stronger.

Well this didn't get the responses I was hoping, so I'll rephrase the question.

From my experience, older people and people that don't smoke herb regularly tend to prefer hash. I've asked them on many different occasions why they don't like weed, but prefer hash. The answers I get tend to be... 'Weed gets me too high' or 'Weed makes me paranoid/anxious'. My understanding is that herb which has low levels of CBD (or high levels of THC compared to CBD) gives you the trippier high (paranoia), whereas, herb that has high levels of CBD give you a more stony, narcotic high (relaxing hash high).

True?

Therefore, is it the case that the process of making hash creates a product with higher levels of CBD (wheather in the process of making it or as it cures)
OR
is it the case that smoking hash as opposed to smoking weed, delivers more CBD to the user?

Any information on how different cannabis products (hash, oil, weed..) or different ingestion methods (smoke, vaporize, eating) can affect the ratio of THC vs. CBD (or other cannabinoid compounds) the user receives would be appreciated.

But does it ring true that if you compared some weed to some hash (that was made from the same weed), that the high from the hash would be much mellower than from the weed?

not sure if i would say mellower..... more intense maybe would be more accurate. i think it may seem mellower because your getting higher so if thats true you should be able to get simmilar effects from smoking a big joint as you would smoking a small piece of hash i think its just more concentrated which makes you feel as if it is a diffrnt kind of high..... like smokin a bowl vs. a half oz. blunt sam pot completely diffrnt effect i think this logic makes sense dnt know if theirs anything to it but makes sense
