POT TV – Cannabis Culture’s marijuana dispensary location at 711 Queen Street East was raided this afternoon by Toronto police. Two staff people were arrested and are currently being held for bail but owners plan to open again tomorrow morning.

4 Raids the other day, 1 raid today. Cannabis is big business in Canada. With the tax to be raised from the sale of cannabis as a new revenue stream coming soon, the government is keen to maintain all facets of the criminal justice system. Yes, a good fresh supply of criminals will keep everyone fully employed and showing healthy returns on investment.

The police are being credited with saving these children from certain death from the devils (tax generating ) weed !!! HC were all out getting ripped on oxis and could not comment....

As much as Marc is a bit of a weirdo I am so pissed that they keep getting raided. In Toronto Gangs are literally running the streets, people are getting shot in their cars just for driving in the wrong areas no gang affiliation needed. Also just this past week a friends dad passed away from kidney failure from alcohol abuse a young guy(50's) wtf, I am so sick of all the bs and lies. Free the weed, free the people.

No surprise really. Maybe one...it didnt happen sooner. I guess it took the cops awhile to divy up the loot from the first raids.

I hope the Emerys are covering their employees legal fees...

There were two other shops raided today besides cannabis culture.
She is opening cc herself tomorrow and holding a press conference at 10 outside the reopened store.
Who wants to bet she doesn't get arrested?

This madness has to end.
I'm beginning to be more ashamed to be Canadian then even under harpler.
At least the rest of the world knew he was an idiot, he didn't hide behind topless vacation selfies

At the very least, at least she & Marc use their 'star power' to promote progress. Not so much with JT.

Unfortunately their idea of progress was going on tv promoting $15grams to anyone med or not.
Not exactly the compassionate humanitarians they try to portray but none the less no one should be arrested over mj. It's archaic that 100yr old laws are spouted off about by idiots clearly out for a literal cash grab
What's that famous nwa line?

The prices are high because they have to factor in the cost of legal fees into the gram If you think legalization should include storefronts keep supporting them - the risks are real right now.

“The law is absolutely clear,” Pugash said in a phone interview with CP24 Wednesday evening.

“It says that selling marijuana outside of a government-licensed scheme is against the law. There is no grey area.”

Definition of a SCHEME - make plans, especially in a devious way or with intent to do something illegal or wrong:

AT LEAST THE COPS ARE NOW ADMITTING IT IS WRONG TOO......

So $6800 lbs are strictly to cover legal fees? Come on
Like I said I don't agree with anyone being charged for mj offenses but going on tv and bragging about this level of profit/tax evasion is a recipe for disaster.

Why anyone would spend that kind of money is insane. If storefronts come with this sort of pricing then I for one will never support them.
I'd rather pay the bm street dealer that doesn't push their luck.
