Cannaventure "Secret OG"

Got some free beans from Cannaventure that were labeled "Secret OG". All I could find online about it was that the daddy was a Fire OG bx and nothing about momma, that was the secret part. This strain has turned into a beast for me and I want to go out on a limb and say that this strain is a Fire OG bx x SSSDH, I may be wrong but it has all the signs. I just got done with a run of SSSDH and this Secret OG has that exact smell and growth patterns. Neat plant but everything I have seen with SSSDH in it, it is the dominate parent. Anyone else cracking these beans?

Thats funny b/c I have the Sour in flowering but you are a head of me. That Sour does have some nice buds, would love to see a pic of yours. That "secret og" quickly became the biggest in the garden. She looks like she is gonna go longer in to flowering though, lost of sativa in her but should be good smoke if I can wait her out.

It's the loompas headband clone, I heard it straight from a cvs rep, which is very sour, lemony fuel, spicy and I only tried the sssdh years ago but I can imagine they are similar in taste and smell as they are both diesels

I just finished 1 Cannaventure Purple Berry BX2, and I am not impressed with mine at all. First of all, my pheno didn't turn purple. Second, the taste and buzz leave alot of room for improvement. The smell of pungent blueberries is quite nice though. Even though it didn't turn purple it still has bag appeal. Overall, I doubt I will even try growing it again. I also grew out a couple of my Mother's Mix seeds, but they turned out to be males.

My three purpleberry turned purple alright, nice dark purple with the wonderful taste and aroma of burnt wood. The high was weak at best. Basically swag.

Plus, I was all stoked when I ordered the pberry so like a birdbrain I did research after I ordered them. Well I was not happy with what I found. On a washington state medical growers forum I found a group of washington growers that cannaventure swindle out of their genetics. He made contracts to trade pollen and clones, but he never paid the growers cuts of his pberry mother and only offered them seeds he made with their genetics. Plus one of the guys he ripped off stated the cannaventure himself said that the pberry was a joke.

I hate to sound like I'm bashing cannaventure, from the sound of it he now has great genetics, but I'll stay far away from old cannav. as far as beans go. Peace and best of luck to all.

I did do some reasearch before i bought it, and I ran across some forums where people were praising him and his genetics. I don't remember if I found any grow logs on the PB or not though. It doesn't matter now. I have been hearing alot of bad things about Cannaventure here lately. I have found plenty of breeders now that I can run without having to worry about shit, so I won't be spending a $100 on his beans ever again. Tha's just my opinion though.

Heads up to people with cannaventure's gear, if you like his stuff, I read on a northwest growers forum that cannaventure would give out a free pack of beans for posting journals of grows using his gear. I'm not a fan , but hell free genetics are hard to come by for people in the middle of no man's land. Not sure if he is still doing that but could hurt to drop them a PM and get details.

I wasted my time with a few of his strains. I grew a bunch of SHIT. It even made shitty hash so I threw the rest out....just a total waste of time and I will never waste my time EVER again....especially when there are so many others out ther doing so much better for so much less.....
if you are on that site then you know who to get elite strains from coming to you in seed form....the site is littered with good guys even though they bicker like a bunch of bitches...LOL

Yeah, I hear you. I just put it up cuz people may want to try it. Myself, I wouldn't run his shit even if someone paid me. Once I read about him stealing genetics and ripping people off, I lost any interest on the Purpleberry I got from him. Then after I popped three of them and they all tasted like burnt wood, I was done with his crap. But like I said some people seem interested in his gear, so I passed the word on. I assume that people in the know will avoid cannaventure.

Really though, I doubt whether dude will still honor that "promo". Again, I don't want to lead anyone on, cannaventure is not reliable,IMO, and the purpleberry is a purple, wood tasting turd. But for those that say "his shit is dank", I figure, let them keep growing that bunk with his "tester" bull if he will give them the seeds for free but people should not pay for them. Thanks for looking out for the people though. I defiantly am not trying to lead people on, that's why I stated "I'm not a fan". Kind of a "user beware" thing, I probably should have put a disclaimer on that post. LOL. Cheers. No hard feelings here man.

i jumped on these myself, will post up a log when i crack them. if anyone else is running them, please post pics and feedback for the rest of us.
