i keep testing and monkeying with this northern lights auto and can't figure it out. I might be going too conservative with my adjustments...I don't know.

Any ideas?

Looks like a pH issue. Locked out. Might consider a good flush. Not much time to play around with Auto's. Need more info on the grow to help much more.

It's been sickly from the start. I've been pretty consistently at 6.5 in the soil.

Just flush with balanced water?

It's an indoor Soil grow in 3 gal smart pots.

Ocean Forest. Using the FF trio as scheduled and CalMag until everything went haywire (only this plant, the 4 others did well and have been harvested). Have it on an 18/6 light schedule. Lights about 24" away (600w LED).
Lately I've been testing the soil and trying to adjust accordingly. Overall things have gotten a bit greener, but there are still brown spotty leaves.

It would be hard for anyone to guess with the info provided because you say you are trying different things or monkeying around. There are many possibilities. If you started from seed and 3 were good then it could have been a weak plant and there was nothing you could do.
How soon did you use nutes with the ffof this grow? It is a water only soil for the 1st 30 days aside from supplementing cal/mag when using ro water. If you used big grow or other nutes to soon in ffof, that can cause problems.
It should finish. Being sick it is taking longer than the others. What to do other than proper watering at this point IDK.
Congratulations on the other 3 finishing.

this plant is about done, you got what you got not much to do at this point

do yourself a favor
get rid of the ff nutes

there soil is great, there liquid nutes suck
they don't list all the elements on te label, and the mixing instructions are terrible and there just an all around bad choice for a newbie

to have continued success with them you need to really know what your plants are telling you or be lucky

get yourself the floranova grow/bloom (first choice) or the maxi grow/bloom (second choice) for a more economical option

they are well balanced 1 part fertilizers in the proper ratios and the directions are straight forward and reasonable

everythings listed on the labels as they should be and theres no gimics or hype and its likely all youll need

also
starting out with the ff soil you wont need to worry much about ph, its already in range out the bag and youd be hard pressed to push it out of range during the first use

Thanks! Great stuff.

Soil tested N in surplus, P off the charts high, K depleted. Worth trying to amend or just leave it be?
