Ya dude u gota feed/water them 2x a day after week 3 flower when it starts to get dry(not bone dry) salt solidifies around the roots themselfs and u get lockout and burn and oxygen deprivation got to keep that shit wet and flushed check your first runoff that falls out of pots and see what your ppms are at also if u are in coco run drip clean can’t stress that enough

Still using same 4 strains:
Punch the cake from the plug seedbank
Blue gelato from barneys farm
Platinum gushers from in-house genetics
Strawberry eclair from g13 labs

I had a 5th mother which was bubble runtz from a new seedbank called tastebudz but the fucker hermied on 1 of the 3 seeds I popped so I’ve killed the mother, only thing is I told my girl to take cuttings from 3 of the other strains before I killed it and now 2 of the plants in there look ALOT like that fucking strain.

also guys I see in one of the pics a bottom leaf looks a lil fucked dw it’s not salt or another problem I was vacuumingin the tent and accidentally vaccuumed the leaf

the younger ones are getting the same feed as them surely if it was that I’d be seeing the same fuckery earlier on in the flower?

This is probably the issue. With colas that big, those plants need to drink! Your feedings should slowly be upped as they get bigger.

to be honest dude atm I’m stickin to between 2/3 and 3/4 of recommended dose I find if I use full dose they jus burn that’s what happens to my veg plants, if I give cuttings 1ml per litre of water they happy if any more burn and when they get abit bigger and with the mothers the most they like is 3ml per litre even though the bottle at that stage say 4ml per litre I’m jus doin what seems to make em happy and no more fucking burns.

generally I stick to 2ml per litre of water and they happy asf

as for the flowering Plants because I’m using 4 additives and I don’t want my ec too high that’s why I use either 2/3 or 3/4 plus I use batshit too for nice slow release nutrients.

I would keep the ppm/e.c. the same and just increase the feedings. I don't see how those big ass adult colas could live off of the same feedings they had as babies. Could be a reason why your plants leaves are burning up. No moisture in the leaves

Yup. I miss a day of feeding and my leaves start to wilt and die off like the pictures you posted of the leaves.
Buds become airy and I get a premature finish because the leaves tap out before the end of their life cycle.

Those big ass adult colas have already eaten lots to get that big. Now they are slowly fattening up so the EC should be lowered as you get into later flowering. They just store excess nutes and either start showing toxic salts buildup or taste like crap when you smoke them.

I'm down to less than 1/4 strength a couple weeks before the end or burn the crap out of my girls.

The strength (ec/ppm) is lowered, what about your feedings?

The last week or two things should start tapering off but if it looked that green in wk 4 and a few weeks later (let's say week 7-8), it looks like that, It may need to eat more as it's still in its plumping stage.

Or what do you think is making the plants tap out so early into week 8?

I'm talking about lowering the EC with each feed and changing what I'm feeding them as well. After the stretch I'll switch to Lucas formula style feeds then say end of week 6 just be giving them some extra K, S and Mg. If all my big fans are still green then they have too much N in the pots yet so don't need any of that. I want to see those leaves going yellow to know that the plant is stealing what it needs from old leaves.

Not sure what you mean by tapping out into week 8.

I am referring to the original post (Very first post on this thread). We are trying to help diagnose his problem.

He has strong healthy looking plants at wk 4

*A few weeks later

His plants look like they are tapping out.

I believe I already answered that. It's toxic salts buildup, TSB, from feeding too much. I've had that happen often and it's very easy to have happen especially at low RH like we have here most of the year. The lower your RH the lower your EC should be. The plants transpire so much more water that they are still getting lots of food at lower the lower EC/RH because they move so much water and take in more salts. At higher EC/lowRH they store extra nutes/salts, (that can come from tap water too), that it starts to burn the leaves right across the leaf surface rather than along the edges like you get with typical nute burn.

TSB begins in veg from overfeeding and by the time you hit mid-flower is when it rears it's ugly head.

PS: Took my microdose of 'shrooms a while ago and even at 0.05g it's still too much. Messing with my head and having trouble keeping all but basic thoughts straight. lol 0.1 - 0.3g is supposed to be the usual dose. These Penis Envy must be really strong or my head is really weak. :)

The Penis Envy is getting to your head lol jk

Interesting take on it.

WARNING - Opposing viewpoints
(Always take what I say as a grain of salt)

I have had the opposite result from underfeeding, where the nutrients would dry out and leave salt build up and it would just stack the ppm higher and higher each day. A good heavier feeding dropped the run off ppm by a couple hundred.

My girls get the thirstiest from week 5-8.

By week 9 and on I start dropping the ppm. Some strains I am able to reduce the feedings without the girls crying other plants I can't reduce the feedings because they get so thirsty. Really stresses them out but the THC production is insane.

Just from my experience.

I think you're confusing thirsty with hungry.

I just listen to my plants and give them what they ask for.

You do you.

Okay so I’m my flowering tent plants go from looking like this at week 3 4
View attachment 4747747
To this a few weeks later

View attachment 4747749
My temps at lights on are between 25 to 28c

I don’t know humidity broke hygrometer

I’m using advanced nutrients as I’ve used the same coco about 3 times now and I flush it heavily before using again to get rid of any dust or general fuckery

I’ve noticed the coco isn’t really drying out as fast as it should IMO instead of being 2 3 days it’s dry at about day 5
could it be temps to cold at lights off?
Humidity issue?
I’ve tried flushing I’ve tried reducing temps with air conditioner it has a dehumidifier although I haven’t tried that
I don’t know if maybe it’s the old coco and it’s something to do with that and it’s only showing late in flowering because whatever fuckery is in there the roots haven’t grown into till late flowering

simply put I don’t have a fucking clue
you checked for white flies, Maybe gnats in your medium??

mate when I do water the bottom of my tent is FLODDED so I’m guessing I’m getting good run off I was even thinkin maybe it’s too flooded and the shit I’m flushing out with the flooding is getting back into pots and fuckin the more developed ones coz the roots are touchin it?
this is your first problem.
