Ah yeah. Cantalopes grow lovely. I've grown a couple a few years back. I will keep track of this if you post update pictures often enough.

Yeah the lopes look okay to me. I only fed mine a hit of miracle grow once every month and a half and they grew out just fine. I did have one die due to overwatering but uh ... that was because it rained on em pretty hard and caused my watering schedule to go quirky on me.

I just finished a Moon and Stars Watermelon. I was interested because of the spotted pattern and the yellow flesh. Turned out alright. Unfortunately the cantaloupe I planted was in the corner of the garden where the soil was kind of sandy and extremely warm due to being in the sun all day. Those didn't turn out. Now I know. Yours are looking good!

I grew some.................well actually............they kinda came up by themselves in the compost pile but they did pretty well. Did not water them at all and I think that is why they were quite crisp. Harvested the seeds and will treat them better next year. Just fyI the plant took up about 50 sq. ft. You may outgrow that container pretty quick

Haa you had a random veg plant pop up in a compost pile too? I had a cucumber plant pop up out of my compost pile last year and had it growing all year up untill september. It caught some type of plant disease and died on me. I was really looking forward to the thing producing.

They look great!! I would put them in a bigger container if possible the spread like wild fire if given the space,(the vines) I used a chicken wire cage but only a few dangled most of the them were on the ground, my past roomate grew some on the patio and let them dangle, they did very well.
