Wow...they are able to cut in on each other? This is far more interesting than the Repub Clown Car, and Liz May is tweeting responses since she was cut out of the debate.

SPARKS! FIRE!
I couldn't help but notice the mod was right; these "boys" are all skating the objective questions, especially regarding costs.

So...Who won?
Sperm du Pierre?
Angry Beard?
il DOUCHE?

nope...
It appears to me that Elizabeth May won. She caught my eye with her acknowledgement that a Guaranteed Annual Income is needed for Canada on her Twitter feed during the debate. She also mentioned subjects such as productivity (a question avoided amongst the "men" in debate).

Now I know as well as anyone else, she doesn't have a hope in hell of becoming either leader or opposition, but damn they deserve 12 seats so they can get party status and start grilling those other assholes in Ottawa during Question Period.

And here is the debate. Skip to 58:40 for the start (it's only 90mins unlike that Clown Car snorefest).

Do you think these debates are worthwhile and or necessary?
I find it's a flash back to an elementary school argument with a bunch of kids trying to talk over each other as if the loudest yet least obnoxious walks away thinking he won. They all came across unprepared yet robotic.
And the beard confused the hell out of me around 144 where he said he would raise taxes for those not paying their fair share but even after he raises them they would be less than the libs or the cons currently.
So if u raise taxes how in the sweet fuk can they be less than they are now?

He's the main reason I'm flirting with Greens instead. He's veered quite far from the direction Jack was going when he brought the NDP to their current position. His smile is bogus and, as you noted, his words have logical inconsistencies.
But I'm torn because my NDP rep is good. I wish he would jump over, since he has enviro leanings anyway.

My neighbourhood is all ndp.
Has been since I was a kid so voting for anyone else is a wasted vote which is unfortunate because I agree I'd love to see the greens get a few seats instead of a few votes.
No matter what tho I will feel a lot better oct 20 when Harper gets the boot.

Yah, that's my quagmire, too. But has your riding been changed? Mine has been expanded to include an area that is traditionally Cons (the rich side of town). That is going to create some problems.
It looks like another gerrymandering move by the Cons to steal votes, once again, like they did out East last time.

I don't think my neighbourhood has changed or expanded but I'm not sure. I know that the same lady has won every election going back as far as I can remember. And I'm sure even if the area was expanded it wouldn't help the cons much.
I haven't seen one con lawn sign around here yet.

As I understand it the NDP want to decriminalize the liberals want to legalize and the conservatives want to put you in jail for 6 or more plants. If the NDP win and decriminalize does that mean I can grow my medicine without fear of going to jail?

That is the mysterious question. The Angry Beard demonstrated his disdain for weed when he quipped at Trudeau's "smoke" comment. The only suggestion I have is to call your NDP rep and ask them directly.
If you get a BS answer, then...

None are willing to voice the details of their mj plans for fear of more negative smears leading into the election.
None of them are going to be able to implement any change quickly anyway. It's bound to happen eventually regardless who wins.
The cash surpluses generating in Colorado are too much for any greedy eyed politician to turn away from.
