Here are my two Bubblelicious phenos. Wide leaves and green buds on the left. Narrow leaves and purple buds on the right. Also, the purple one is more compact.
BB4 left, BB1 right

So, just harvested everything above 18" or so on all four of the I2 plants (main colas). Trichs on outer calyxes are about 10-12% amber, and 30-40% cloudy. I dried some out on thursday night and loved the results- uplifting and motivating yet relaxing and calm, not overpowering but present. Comes on slow, goes away veeery slow. Right at the 8 week mark. Will let the rest of the Ice go to 20%+ Amber, and the Bubblelicious go to 50%+ amber.

Awesome dude! Can you give us a weight once you've dried?

So if you have 12% amber and 40% cloudy, that means you left almost 45% clear??

Harvested top colas of I3 plants on 11/10, and all BB plants 11/13. all at like ~30% amber trichs. That leaves just the lower branches of all my plants to mature to ~50% amber

Hello Capt.
I got a few questions if you have a minute to reply. First naners, is that hermes if so please elaborate on what to do with them, and what causes them, and how do we get rid of them, or is it genetic? Second I am growing the bubble also from seed I have 3 different seed mothers. The first was deep purple, the next only has glimmers of purple(harvest tonight) and the last is just getting frosty so its hard to tell. Question is iyho will the clones of the first yeild purple buds like the mother or is the purple from its growing enviroment? Lastly do you flush prior to harvest or any dark period? The purple bud smells fantastic but the taste is just ok. I was thinking that a clear water flush for a few days might help, your thought?

No problem Kevo. Naners are male pollen-producing organs produced among the female buds. Usually one or a few. Occurring late in flowering, they are induced primarily by environmental stresses, though some strains (see Blueberry) are considered to show a propensity towards it, and others a resistance. Generally, if your plants have zero stress, smooth temp patterns, good humidity levels, and good water, it won't happen. I didn't really try hard to prevent it late in flowering because 1. I wanted some pollen from bubblelicious because i have no more seeds for this strain and only females. 2. Seed takes a while to develop in the bud and some pollen a few days before harvest won't change much of anything. To your next question regarding purps. Purple color is determined both genetically AND and temperature simultaneously. I have two phenos of bubblelicious as seen above. The minute nights went into the 60's, all three BB1 plants started turning purple within days. All BB4 plants stayed quite green. The clones of your purple plant will be purple, and the clones of your blush plant will be blush. IF the temps are the same as they are now. if you get them colder for longer they will both very likely be darker purple. and even some of your green strainss may show some hues of pink if temps are right. I haven't been flushing near harvest. just lightened the nutes and added a lil molasses. Flavor has been excellent so far but curing is only beginning. I would not recommend blasting your plant with clean water during the most crucial stage of its life. I think the complexity of a bud's flavour comes from the great variety of different phenols manufactured from various nutes and minerals. It seems if you washed out your plant, you would simply prevent it from manufacturing flavor ingredients, as well as stress the fuck out of it and push nute leves it had right within healthy ranges right out of whack. I never flushed. My bud is green and ripe and tasty.
