carbon filter installation question

So I have a bunch of posts on here about the wonders of carbon filters. Here's my situation:

It is a STLEAALLTHHH closet grow. I bought a wooden closet cabinet to put in my closet/ "grow space." I have three plants planted so who knows how many are going to be female. How can I install a carbon filter if I can't vent out anywhere? This may sound silly, but could I install it at the top of the cabinet, inside of an A/C duct and have a fan above the plants drawing in air to the duct/ filter? I have an ozone gen. that a friend gave me, it's just I would like to know all my options to have complete odor control

A big thanks to everyone who takes the time to help a noob! :peace::peace::peace::peace:

you can just run the carbon filter without venting at all for odor control. just passing the air through the filter will clean it.

and a tip - buy some ona gel as a backup or if you need a little extra help during flowering. it works great.

You can make a very simple carbon filter using nothing more than some pantyhose, activated carbon(found in walmarts fish section), one small wire pen holder, and one slightly larger pen holder(both pen holders also found at walmart). The steps are as follows:

1.Pour some activated carbon in the bottom of the large wire pen holder(essentially a cup but the sides are wire so air can pass but the carbon doesn't fall out).
2.Put the small wire pen holder inside one leg of a single leg black pantyhose.
3.Put the small wire pen holder(still in pantyhose)inside the larger one.
4.Pour more activated carbon in between the two wire pen holders(around the outside of the small wire pen holder, and inside the large one).
5.When it is full of activated carbon up to the tops of the two wire pen holders, pull the pantyhose down over the whole thing to seal the gap where the activated carbon is and wrap around the whole filter.
6.Tie a not at the front of the filter(the bottom of the large wire pen holder) to seal it all up real nice, and cut off the excess pantyhose.
7.Now you have an activated carbon filter with an inlet whole.
8.Feed the inlet hole with a small pc cooling fan. The air will be filtered and pass out the sides of the filter.
9.Make sure your grow area has an inlet for air so there is proper circulation. Even if you don't vent the filter to the outside, it will still circulate and clean the air, and get rid of the smell.

I realize I should have given credit to someone else for that activated carbon filter, its from a thread I've seen on here. The author is Wolfman Zen and he is one of the best DIY guys on this site.

If you have the room to slide your dresser away from the back wall of your closet and still have room to shut the door you could cut a hole in the back of the dresser and run ducting out into the intake of your fan. Have your scrubber back there just standing vertically and your fan on top of it blowing through it. Will stay compact, it being behind the dresser will muffle noise and it will also not be noticeable in case anyone opens your closet they will still just see the dresser.
