caregivers really give free meds?

Lol. I stopped flowering at one spot and have only been burning a 1kw MH and some T5s the last few months and the bill is the lowest it has been in years, $350. My bills are always 700-1500. Depending on what's popping.

Growing herb indoors is not cheap.

Inexperienced noob. Bow out before people flame you like crazy for your retarded analogy. Your username is based on a shitty hype strain from DNA. You know nothing. Don't come here and try to mock professional growers.

I had a person tell me if i let them be my caregiver they would give me 2 plants per harvest (rip off in my opion ) how often do ppl do this kind of thing if i found right offer anyone else get free meds or anything from there caregiver?
most caregivers are rip offs and will give overcharge for everything. it's between you and the caregiver. and no matter what the caregiver tells you, you cannot fully trust them to fulfill the contract whether it be verbal or not. and besides that what are they giving you for free? is it going to be some nice cola buds or bottom scraps that should be used for edibles? and if they dont do what they say, what are you going to do sue them over weed? the caregiver business can be a disaster. i know so many people once friends who became enemies all because of greed and wanting to get high. and these are supposed medical patients/caregivers. you have to fully trust who you deal with. you really have to have some money too, if your just some chump without an income and just making enough to get by, your going to have trouble getting ahead unless you know some one that trusts you with a lot of money as far as being a caregiver. then dont ever front anything out cause most of these so called patients are not using it medically and will take advantage of you. i caregive for myself and a few other people. there is no free medicine. instead we all pitch evenly on the bills. whenever work is needed to be done like trimming, cleaning, watering we split that up too. we split each harvest 4 ways. we all have decent jobs and can easily afford the bills. splitting the work up keeps it from being too much. just a few hours everyday. it still is a lot of dedication everyday though. anytime something goes wrong we have to fix it asap so we're not having any down time.

damn right bro! i have just a medium grow that uses just $300 in electric/water every month and no one even lives there. then in the winter time the gas bill is over $200 sometimes to keep my temps up. a lot of people dont realize that you really need to have some extra cash to get a decent operation started and keep it sustained. i know a couple people who spent thousands on equipment and nutrients. the grows didnt have the greatest yields and they smoked a lot of it instead of getting money to pay the bills. lights went out not long after the shut off notice. lot of people don't realize that it takes a lot of responsibility to pay bills that are that high. then you got the other guys that just sink too much money into snake oils at there local hydro shops thinking it will boost there yields. most seem to bite off more than they can chew. then lets not forget about the no common sense people that nearly blow themselves up lighting up cigarettes while making wax.

And the church has always passed a collection plate for Christ sake lmfao !

I imagine the price of paint and ladders really dont matter due to the monopoly of the Vatican !

no $ on ferts when you reuse the dirt. that helps keep costs down. electric about 400 but goin up every month.

Nice to know someone else is trying to keep there expenses minimal , retiring from a Hydro store really made me realize how much people waste while passing on the charge . Often people ask me how I am able to part with such potent smoke at a very fair donation . My reply is strategy , cost and spending analysis performed regularly along with a collection of Hyper potent high yielding genetics:)

I was scrolling down to make this very solid argument. If you want to use budgets like the roman catholic church,
your ass can have one truly amazing grow room!! That paint and scaffolding was probably some of the most expensive in
the world.

It seem more patients would understand that nothing in life is free and be willing to work out an agreement with a caregiver. And it seem more caregivers would understand patients need top shelf meds at an affordable price and be willing to work out an agreement. These arguements confuse me? Either way between me and the wife we could take on 8 more patients and don't for some reason?

I think most of you missed the point of the comment..... especially rare d..... I spend a boatload a month on electricity and ferts and all that fun stuff but thats nothing compared to the time and effort and knowledge i put into it.

At the sistine chapel michelangleo painted one of his masterpieces one of the best painters in the world. so lets just hypothetically say it cost $100,000 do you think the cost of the chapel was ALL scaffold and paint? NO U FUCKING ASS HOLES now calm down and think before you go all ass face. Most of that is going to the artist for his work.

my patients can't compare what i do to others based on my fert and light bill a month because even if someone had 10x the cost they are not going to have the quality i have.

Greedy ass patients that want a % of "their' plants can go suck a duck. i don't have room for those people and they are the same people that when they grow are gonna grow some bullshit covered in salt. go find some caregiver that will bowdown and take you on and keep giving up free stuff so you can sell it go ahead...... good growers like myself have a wait list so you probably won't find anyone.

*edit* no idea why i felt like saying $100k >.< i think i was gonna write %'s or something

and have you ever grown some HGK? i wouldn't talk to much ish on it, its pretty fire. i love me some Rare d strains and i love me some DNA. done a few of each and i don't see any reason for your over hyped comment. holy grail is amazing strain i got 3 phenos that are just amazing. i wouldn't really say its any better then anything else properly grown but its really really good.

Don't get all brand hurt and just defend your own brand 100% thats a bad look. Rare D has some goodies but don't act others don't please.

I'm not bashing DNA. I actually know Don and Aaron and like them a lot. I'm bashing you falling for the hype that is the HGK. "Hey, let's just cross our two biggest selling strains, everyone will buy that shit" I have the kosher kush clone they used to make their Koseher Kush S1s. Aka "Jew gold." So I won't be checking out HGK, but I know all of the flowers I have seen around the area from it have been subpar.

pick a day i got a lil left i could meet ya up at the Gc3 and u could give mine a go? i haven't had it tested yet and its only the first pheno out of 4 (other 3 still drying) but id put it on the table with anything without fear. Its reminiscent of both kosher and og18 its really good. even with broad mites i got an HP of top shelf.

And for the materials cost on the chapel.... kk bad example i guess, to big of a scale. but you get what I'm saying as growers we are artists. those plants are a direct reflection of what we put in. its not like being a mechanic or something like that. any mechanic could come into my bay and replace breaks on a car. not just any grower could come to my grow and grow what i grow much like art. as a caregiver i am putting my all into my plants to make sure that my patients have a good bit of comfort when they need it most (one is terminal) and its between you and your patients to figure out what that is worth. if my patients need 5 ounces a month because its what they are smoking then god damned if I'm not gonna find 5 ounces a month for them. its when patients start bitching about being out when they just sold a quarter for bar money and other shit like that. my patients get what they need plain and simple. a good caregiver can provide that as people shouldn't really NEED all that much.

*edit* Id like to get some RD beans anyway should i order em or do you have some that i could scoop at the Gc3?

you should stay away from analogies, you're really, really bad with them...

But you're right that certain skill levels (develop/deserve/demand) greater recognition, whatever form it takes.

I've been very busy lately, haven't made it to g3c in about a month. But I will be opening a store in Ann Arbor at the end of the month. You will be able to get RD beans there 5-6 days a week.

nice AA is the spot to go. I'm always wondering why we don't throw the MI cannabis cup in AA?? (id be down to help organize such event too if anyone here has the resources and gumption to attempt this.)

And your right I'm probably not that great with analogies but i find thats the easiest way to get across an idea sometimes, especially when I'm just making a smart ass comment trying to enforce someone else's point. other times i probably just do it cause I'm High idk lol.
