Good Mornin CaliCatt! I do believe you do have one that needs just a few more days and it's time for the clippers. Sounds like the dogs been in your closet...LOL, that is definately a new smell, one I'm not interested in "dog fart". You have certainly shown them some LOVE.

Headin to the lake but not for fishin, hope you do catch a big one. Enjoy your day!
Morning again Tx :) The one that looks almost ready keeps popping up little batches of new white pistils....I'll be checking the trichs for color when my lights come on at 3. When I trim I know I'm gonna be picking off tons of dog hair...lol! I can't really see the hairs until I look at my pics, it's everywhere :o And I have no idea where the smell of dog farts comes from.....I think maybe they sneak in my closet when I'm at work cuz they are jealous, so they shed and fart all over my babies...LOL!

I did catch a nice brown trout...no bass for me this time! Threw that trout in the freezer for the grill this weekend.

them girls look sexy as hell, its amazing what u can do with cfl's when they are used correctly. awesome grow. keep it going!!
Thanks brettsog! They sure are sexy....and they just keep getting sexier and sexier everyday :)

They're looking wonderful!
You always have such nice things to say I85BLAX.....I'm so excited to dry and cure this sweet stuff!

They look awesome keep it up and you need to tell me your secret lol
Patience Grow.....patience ;) Plus with the new 10,000 watts of love bulb I'm using, growing is easy as pie!

Looking really nice Claicatt! The last pic in yesterdays update looks amazing! You got me beat on frostyness for sure! Great job I would plus rep ya again if I could!
;) I didn't even know ladybuds could get that frosty....she's my favorite. I'm so glad I found that hermie and pulled her out! I'm always amazed at the frostyness of the 2 larger girls....they all make me so proud! Your girls ain't too shabby either ;) nice and plump!

Damn those are frosty!!! I bow to your cfl greatness!!! Have a great day fishin, I'm goin out too today so save a bigun fer me! +rep for the frostyness. :)
The frostyness of these girls brings tears to my eyes...lol! That means they are gonna be so super sweet and sticky....I hope ;)
Didn't catch the big bass I was hoping for, but a 2 lb brown trout sure is fun to catch! That just means there is more big bass to catch next weekend :) So hard to find large mouth up here, all the ponds and lakes are filled with perch and trout. I know they are hiding here somewhere.....gonna try the dam this weekend ;)

How'd you do? Catch any biggins?

I wish i could make mine look like that lol
You can.....I BEG mine sometimes and always give motivational speeches to them while I'm poking around the garden....lol! I think they listen, does that make me crazy?

Atta girl Catt!! They sure do look pretty and it look like you got the hang of it. I ddon't think I would worry about the yelow leaves. I looks like normal late stage leave die off thats just happening a tiny bit to early. As pretty as this batch is they ain't got nothng of shorty and the gang. Bet they smell a lot nicer though, but lets see down the line if its any better in term of stone.
:D
How big are your pots. Don't make me look back although I'm sure the info is here somewhere. Anyway it sure look like you have a lot of room for roots in those babies. I wonder but don't know if your yield would have been significantly better by vegging longer. I have to go back a read thru this a bit more. I have been out of the loop a bit and should see what I've missed. (didn't miss the good part)

Rock on sister C. My out door stuff in out but I'm looking to start my FJC indoors when it cools down a bit like next fall but I am going to upgrade before I start. BOTH kids will be out of the house and at university so it's all mine ha Ha. Are you using the AC? It's been pretty cool up there hasn't it? A couple of nice days but lots of wet cool shit. My pal in maine said they near drowned last week end and that it just wouldn't stop:D
Hey there my long lost pal! I'm always psyched when you stop by. I sure do miss the spring growers thread :( Did they ever start it up again after the crash? Gearing up for some hiking next weekend and I'm bringing my camera so I'll have some (non) medicinal flower pics thrown in with my next update. Things are looking so green up this way, nature never fails to amaze me. I still like autumn the best though ;)

Oh how I hate the yellow leaves....I was doing so good keeping them nice and green too. I know it's just natures way, but it's still ugly and it means they are getting ready to die :( makes me a little bit sad. I feel a connection to my grows, and to all of you for being here to see it. I hate when they end :( Makes me want to start another one right away, but I'm also going to wait until summer has peaked and it starts to cool off a little bit (maybe around the end of Aug) or maybe I wont be able to wait...lol! Thinking of my next beans and which strain to do and how I plan on growing them. I'm leaning toward LST, but part of me wants to try and grow a pair of mega sativas. How do you feel about 2 maui wowie in the closet? I've always wanted to try the old maui wowie!

I don't think anything can compare to Shorty, Ladybud and Nitro! I miss them. My first grow will always hold a special place in my heart that nothing can compare to ;) but boy your right when you say the Bubbles smell better! They smell so unusual....I still can't really put my finger on it. I only hope they taste just like they smell (minus the dog fart) lol! I can't wait to see how the high will be, I think the 2 shorter ones are a diff pheno than the 2 larger twins. The tall ones have a real sweet, skunky smell, but no skunk in the 2 shorter girls - just pure candy!

The pots are the same as my first grow....the 3 gal. I most def could of used larger pots because things seem kind of tight in there. I'm gonna get a few 5 gal buckets for my next grow and try that out. I vegged for about 6 weeks this time around....wish I went a few weeks longer considering I vegged my first grow for almost 11 weeks and I think that is why I got as much as I did! I'm happy with the size of the 2 sativa dom. gals, but the 2 smaller ones better be some chunky, couch lock, help you sleep indica :) They sure do look very tasty!

Sucks you couldn't get your outdoor stuff going this year :( All that work you put in digging holes too :( I'm ashamed I didn't get anything going outside yet....think it's too late in the season? I haven't needed the AC yet....not sure if I really want to anymore, this thing works AWESOME in my dining room....lol!

Congrats on getting the kiddos off to college ;) I look forward to that day almost EVERYDAY....ROFL! n it has been pretty cool up here....barely reaching 76 yesterday. Perfect temp for the girls...65 lights out....78 lights on! Except for those 2 days it was 90, I wasn't home to shut the intake off so it sucked all that warm air into my closet and roasted them for a few hours both days. Luckily it cools off real quick so it wasn't long....but just long enough to burn a few leaves and make them mad at me :(

It sure has been raining, but I like the rain....makes everything greener. It's the flooding I could do without. If I have to decide if I want to cross a river to get to work then it's rained waaaay to much. We've got another wave of rain coming tonight into tomorrow. It sure helps keep my rh where it should be...lol! Can't wait till you start your FCJ, it's such a pretty plant ;)

Subbed.............Better late than never, huh?

New here, and so far there are a LOT of cool folks here. Have bounced around here and there within RIU perusing this and that. Read through dabumps last grow and again, looks like some awesome people on this site. BTW, great grow that you had there dabumps! I mean, quality bro, quality.

Catt, what can I say other than that is one SWEET looking garden you have there!! Those ladies look amazing. Never had that strain (as in smoked), but it looks HubbaBubba! Cant wait for smoke report!

Kind of nervous about starting a grow thread......have been, shall we say, involved in an observatory fashion of course (first time), with 2 G13 Haze girly plants grown in an AeroGarden (with additional CFL lights and all). I have observed (snicker) that there are pictures for every single day of that particular grow currently that have been documented only for Souvenir and nostalgic purposes :) Currently ending week 4th week of flowering. The strain looks incredible and the reviews or the smoke are premo.

Anywhoo, just wanted to say what up to everyone, and introduce myself. So, hello!

Congrats on the 2 lb brown, you did better than I did size wise. I released a couple of 10-12" bass and a bunch of small 5-8" brown trout (last falls fingerling plants) a couple 12" rainbows, and a ton of little perch. Fun day on the flyrod for sure. Sounds like we were on the same waters almost. lol I'm growin 2 maui's right now and I'd say go for it. Those 2 and my 2 purplebud are my best lookin ladies right now. I guess I'll have to get off my lazy butt and post up some fresh pics, it's been a couple 3 weeks or so. Have a good 1.:)

catt my old pal!! Two things before we get back to weed!! The first one being that the striper fishing is/has been great down here on the river. A dozen fat bass last night with a 29 inch and a couple of 32/33 inch fish plus a bunch that would have fit whole right on the grill but they have to be 28inch to keep. Nothing like a whole stripper/striper cooked on the grill with a nice salad and some pilaf. Hell sister you have to catch dozens of those little brookies to even make a snack. What lake you fish or is that a top secret RUI thing. You and yours should still come down for a night or two maybe do a little fishing and head down to the Cape or to Boston. Stay in the house or the Pop-up and I know you don't mind pop-ups. Might be a nice free weekend away.... Yeh I know, It ain't gonna happen logisticaly but your welcome. Just bring a taste of Nitro. :D
Number two is I did get five plants outdoors. They are all in pots over ten gallons so maybe things will work out a little before I move back indoors to where it's safe. Well I'm gonna build a bigger box for the winter season. Gonna go 4x4 instead of 2x4. Maybe I can squeeze a couple more in there. Yuh know I'm still smoking my last harvest. I got rid of the four inch rizla papers and it seems to be lasting better..:D
Really impressed with you grow and glad you are keeping it close to the KISS method. Overcomplication just messes things up. HEAT wave today so watch your temps Sheba queen of the herb jungle!! I don't know if your rejecting PM's now but let me in. I have a couple/few questions to ask you concerning herb and don't want to be anymore long winded than I allready am. I've missed so much I am not even sure if you like your new nutes better or if there is just not that much diff. May the gods smile on you and provide a yield that last until your next harvest.
WATCH THE HEAT GIRL!!! gonna be a scorcher down here so don't cook them before you put them in a pipe. Happy summer your pal John/rottedroots.:D. PS I know it's odd but the wife and I keep a pretty open door policy so don't feel shy to stay on your way to the cape or sumpin.

I do miss how tight of a growing bunch we were afore the crash of 2012. Them bastards ruined my Buzz!!:-(:-(:wall:

Hey Sister!! I'm still reeling from the crash of 2012 but I have been makin up for it with a BUNCH of keeper stripers with the best SO far being a 35 inch fish. I usually use a pretty big stick for stripers but was using a little Simano with 15lb power pro on a long thin rod. Won't have that good of a fight for years to come. Big fat fish and back into the water she went. They have to be 28 inches to keep which is a great grill sized fish. My little brat daughter caught a 33 inch fish using 8lb mono and a tiny little penn reel and a rod better suited for brookies. I laughed my ass off but for some reason her boyfriend was not as thrilled as he might be. Ha Ha.

I can't wait until it's cool enough to start my indoor crop but right now the boiler room is hotter than a pistol. So until I can get an indoor crop going with the FCJ and one called kalishnikof or sumpin I'm just gonna do the best I can.. Think about this catt.... For the first time in 20 years I am going to be able to grow indoors knowing both kids are 100's of miles away. The boy went to moracco a few weeks ago and brought me a pipe. I wonder if he suspects I'm a stoner?? Now if I only could get the wife to go that far.....:D

I have 5 plants outside and with all the hot weather we have been having they are taking of faster than I had imagined they would. I just might get lucky but you never know. They are all in BIG tree pots I am guessing are bigger than 20 gallons plus. I hope that works out.:-(

Your thumb is looking very green for your second grow. Keep it up. I'm jealous but in a good way. What do you think of you Nute change. Anything noticable or are you finding they liked MG as much as Neptunes. Just using MG right now but will be moving over to the Alaskan Nutrients shortly and no one will know any better. MG just act so fast and is cheap which is OK. They will have plenty of time for a colonic. I'm psyched the heat isn't getting to your babies and they are looking preety dam good.:D Looking at your pics I think your girls still have plenty of room for more roots. Just remember how much root spece we had last time around when they were finished....

I might not hang around as much as before the crash but Im watching you closely and personally I have no problem smoking dog fart as long as it gets me stoned. You enjoy your weekend and I'll tell you it's been a LONG time since I caught a 2 lb brookie. Now that a purdy fish that eats pretty good as well. Shake it easy catt and get ready for your next grow. The Maui might be great but make sure the yield is just as good as anything else. I love good weed but a large volume is cool too Ha Ha. See you on the lake and you know I miss you like a sister!!!!:D

I would not mind be slightly aroused so post some fresh bud porn this weekend. You Pal John..

Well good morning to you and to all!!! Did you save any fish for additional nutes??? A spectacular grow Catt, really beautiful. I expect I'll get around to a grow in February LOL...garage full of goodies and haven't a place to set up yet, but I will.

Any insights you want to share at this point...changes for the next grow?

Seems to me a lot of bad reviews out there for Nirvana, however every seed I've ever germed has popped and it's hard to argue with your results. Can't argue with good genetics, just look at your pix. Stunning.

Honestly, Growing world of seeds and nirvana right now and the nirvana plant is doing alot better.
But that could be anything, its nice and green and strong and is starting to smell like some good bud.
