This was a trial run, so out of 4 germed seeds, 2 Nirvana Afghan and 2 BS, only one was (initially) a female.
Into the 8th week of flowering the plant started with the "Banana Balls" (male florets?) out of the buds.
At first I didn't think anything of it except I saw some new greener growth in the buds. Guess it wouldn't have mattered, no way I could've cut all the shlongs off.
I don't know if you'll be able to see, but in the first picture, a sac has already busted its nut and you can see the pollen on the leaves.
In the second pic, you can see all the bud colas are infested and having a hermie "coming out" ho-down.
Man that's disappointing. I'm now wondering how much I caused the plant to have hermied, I'm pretty sure regimen of night/day was fine.
Can over fertilizing cause this? And how much was it the genetics of the plants to hermie? There were none of the typical hanging balls that I saw, just these little sacs that grew out super seemingly super fast.
