cfl cabnet grow. 4x2x2

I'm growing cheisel from seed. 4 all together an I'm running 300 watts of soft white cfls. I was wondering if I should bump my wattage up if it was enough already. Any helps appreciated, this is my second indoor grow. So I'm sorta new.

It's enough, why don't you do 12/12 from seed to keep the electric bills low and there won't even be a difference in yield.

So I take it your cab is four feet high? If this is true I figure 320 actual watts of CFL should bud in a 2' x 2' x 4'h cab with the correct reflective material(s).

I changed all my bulbs in the house to cfls. My first grow I did a 600 watt hps an it only jump 10 bucks. If that it hasn't moved since I started an I run 24\7 light till flower.

Yea I ordeed an organic soil grow system. Was just wondering if it was enough wattage for the size an if more would improve yeild.

everyone always says more is better with CFLs. Ive got 520 watts on just one plant.

I was thinkin of maybe going twice as many cfls cause I've got the spots open an it could only improve growth an yeild in the end. I've never done a strait cfl before.

I'm only going to veg for two weeks before I go 12/12

I had to restart on one seedling because there was a defect or something because the seed never germd.

Ok although there would be no difference between 12/12 and vegging for some time as the plant won't actually flower until 3 weeks after growth so you will get the same results.

Look up some good 12/12 from seed threads and you will be surprised with the yield.

I never knew it was three weeks after grow till flower. I thought it was 2 weeks. So ill end up doing that. I just wanna do my own grows for personal so I don't have to pay ridiclous prices for my meds.

Using a 1kw hps HID will take about twelve weeks after the first finger leaf appears.

the timing is dependent on genetics and conditions. I started to see hairy little flowers in only 12 days from changing to 12/12. 3 weeks before any buds start would be on the late side.

Imo theres no point vegging for two weeks,growing 12/12fs the plant still vegs for the first 2/3 weeks anyway.Id say to either veg for 4/5 weeks at least or go full on 12/12fs

Got cfl? Total "on" in this pic is 4x105 and 7x26 = 588 total cfl watts for 15 seedlings. I go 12/12 at about 10" and finish right at the top of the 40" space. Bag seeds, so 50% female is 7 plants to maturity. Important to keep the temp down with an exhaust fan and lights not too close too maturing buds. A circulating fan is vital to equalize temperature and keep very hot air from hovering at the top 6".

Ok guys I'm having a problem, my leafs are curling under an there's brown spots on the sucker leafs of my seedlings. Anyone know what it might be? Ill take pics when I figure out how to post them on here IMG_0016.JPG
