CFL fan here. looking for some opinions

Let me start off by saying i know hps is the bomb and some people hate cfls but so far my first cfl grow i have been impressed. So i am going to build a board with a total of 24 bulbs or 6 sets of 4-23-watt cfls and im going with 6 small clones ill veg for couple weeks so they should get real big when done. So ill be running 92 watts per plant. My question is should i go with 3-2700k bulbs and mix in 1-6500k bulb per set when flowering or should i just go all 2700k bulbs ??? Also as the plants grow i will have the option of adding some side lighting to increase wattage if needed...What do cfl pros think ????

Get some t5 fixtures for top lighting and cfl for supplemental lighting. also cfl wattage is geared towards light our eyes see inn actual lumens for a plant its so miniscule that ull find cfl lights are fucking shit lol.

Lol cfl i use cfl for veg but i bought sun god lotus cfl on ebay 200watt but still is nothing compared to mh or hps its like they grow so fast u can sit and watch them cfls r crap for flower especailly by the time u spend all that money on all those bulbs

i can get 23 watt bulbs for just over a buck a bulb plus money aint the issue its the fact im growing in a tight area under the stairs...low ceiling height. years ago i grew with hps and the heat was a killer.

Id try using lower wattage hps plus u need sum fresh air in there ud b suprised how much better quality bud u get my first 5 grows was with 23x16 cfl setup

Sunblaze 48 t5 with bloom bulbs. Light energy diminishes exponentially with distance so longer bulbs that cover more area are more efficient and will give you more intense lighting.

CFL rock. It's all about quality and not quantity with a CFL. So if you are into growing for money then CFL is not for you.

CFL's come in different spectrum and work very well in closet grows. Don't get me wrong, nothing beats a good high pressure sodium. In a small space with inadequate ventilation a sodium bulb will cook the plant though. Fuckers run hot...
