I was experimenting with my homeade hydroponics kit to get my clones to root but I abandoned the effort due to impatience and the fact that I didn't have any cloning gel at the time. Waited like 7 days and nothing :(
I copped some rockwool cubes and I'll be taking another stab at hydroponics.

My 4 main plants are in 2 4.5 liter buckets. I know putting two plants in one bucket is stupid, but at the time I was just playing around and it turned into a nice little experiment. Only one of the 4 plants got its growth stunted from being double potted. It actually worked out good and the plants are about 14 inches except for the midget which is about 6 inches.

My new plants have since gotten bigger. They are about 2 weeks old.

These pics were taken 3 weeks into the growth of my new babies, and the 4 bigger plants are now getting through their first week of 12/12.

I only have one grow closet and I have to pull them out at night to give them darkness. I'm not always 100% with the 12/12 and I'm hoping I don't screw things up to much. I'm seeing what appear to be pistils growing but I'm keeping my fingers crossed. Check the pics above for a pic of a node in flower.

One more thing. I cut my fan leaves down to let light hit the lower branches when I started flowering. I have since read on this forum that this was a noob mistake :(

We shall see how this affects my flowering period. Any advice?

Dude your grow looks great, very healthy green garden you got there. As far as the leaves go as long as you didn't trim too many you should be fine. You can get some pretty nice plants just out of bagseed huh? You may want to try and position those 125 watters sideways over the plants, just an idea. Hope you get lots of females.bongsmilie

^^ That was actually very good advice as I notice the room gets brighter if I tilt the light..But I have two, so I have to figure out an economical way to hang the lights horizontal.

Any suggestions?

You should try and get a reflector that will help redirect the light coming off of the sides down. String up the reflector and bulb with chain so you can easily change the height of the lights. This way both bulbs can create an even canopy of light over your garden. I rigged an 85 watter to shine down with a reflector like the ones on your clamp lights. A 125 may be too big for those but i'm sure you can figure something out. I see alot of people turn aluminum pans and other random stuff into reflectors. Just remember with cfls its all about light efficiency.

Okay well the big girls are 2 weeks into flowering. The pistils are growing slow as heck and I'm using my bloom nutes about once every 3 days.....Usually once a week but I'm antsy :)

Since I only have one grow room, I decided to switch everything to 12/12, but the first night I did this, It killed a couple of seedlings and made one of my plants sick. I may stick to being a veg only room and pull the flowering plants out at night.

My smaller plants were put into 12/12 for only two days....Would it screw em up badly if I revert back to veg to let them get some height?

I've attached updated pics.....comments are appreciated.

You'll notice that the new tips are really yellow from two days of forced flowering. Now I want to go back to veg....Let me know if I should stay 12/12 PLEASE!!!!

Ok, so here is an update on my grow. My two biggest plants in the previous pics died a miserable death in the first week of flowering due to me adding vinegar to water to increase acidity level in the soil.....Dummy noob move of course but live and learn..

My little plants have since grown and are in week 3 of flowering. One of my plants got freaking huge and I had to repot because of her growth. The other plants are close to being rootbound I'm sure but are short and stocky. They look like some indica.

Please note the how many tops these plants have :) The largest reacted the best to topping and has two huge heads...Wish I was using an HID on the bad mama
