cfl grow, first timer

So this is my first grow. I started with bag seed and am looking to end up making hash out of my yield, if any. I'm using 4 23-watt cfl's, which give off approx. 1500 lumens per bulb, which equates to about 4000 lumens per sqft in my setup. I (mostly) covered the inside with reflective paper and silver duct tape. I will use a tower fan approx. the same height as my grow area to circulate air to all levels of the plants as they grow taller. I plan to tie the stems down in a circular pattern as they grow and veg for as many as 2 months so I can get the largest yield with the fewest number of plants (time is not a concern). I have two seeds that have sprouted so far and another few on the way. More to come. Sorry the pictures suck so bad, better camera next time.

actually i think i have the same bulbs as you. same store, same info, i read the wrong package i think. i got the paper from Michael's (a craft store). I tried to get mylar, like they make balloons out of, but couldn't find it (anyone know where to get it?). I think its just silver wrapping paper but i could be wrong. Its still cheaper and shinier than aluminum foil.

some new pictures. same camera though. i replaced two of the regular cfl's with 23-watt cool spectrum ones that i picked up at target. i also got a temp/humidity monitor and a light timer. the girls are growing a good amount each day and the temperature is a lot easier to control than i thought.

Looking good dawd. I just started my seeds a few days before yours. You should check out my grow log but anways i would get those sprouts into individual pots otherwise the overall growth of the plant will plateau at a certain point due to space constraints. Looking good i would get some higher watt CFL's check home depot or lowes and look for local grow shops that sell mylar if there are none then just by emergency blankets they reflect light as well.

Dr chrondo - for sure i moved them a few days ago into some cups and they look a lot better. i think i may have fucked up some of the roots so they took almost a week to get back on track.

one plant is still super small (no idea why) but the other three are looking good. i changed the light setup a little and switched to cool white bulbs (still 23 watts). they seem happier and the room isn't as hot as it was.

huge lapse in time here, over a month, and the plants have been in flower for 1.5 weeks. One was a hermie (the biggest one, unfortunately), three others were female. They have only had a little miracle grow bloom fertilizer, other than that, no nutes at all. I moved them into soil with more vermiculite and some lava rock and it has helped humidity, drainage, and to regulate the absorption of what little nutrients I have used. I will post pics later today.
