Hey man! I grew with CFL's my first grow and I learned a few things I'd like to share with you maybe they will help.

First make sure to keep those CFL's close within two to four inches of the plant and try to surround the plant with the light if possible.

What's your grow medium like? Soil? Coco?

Until those first two cute leaves fall off the plant really doesn't need any supplements to it's diet. Just some water, fresh air, and good ol' light! Don't worry about feeding your seeds until about two weeks in or until they drop their first two feeder leaves. Your plants will let you know what they need if you give them time.

Also, mix some perlite into your grow medium (not now of course, you've already planted.) It adds extra drainage to your soil and help prevent your roots from getting too muddied up, which would deprive them of the oxygen they still need.

If your soil has extra stuff in it, like nitrogen or organic ingredients your plant may be a little shocked at the abundance of nutrients. No worries, just keep watering your plant when the container is dry til you get 20% run off, then PH the run off. If it's within 6.5-6.8, you're golden. I can't remember the range for soiless so you might have to google that one.

As for your tips pointing down they are probably a little over watered. Wait until the container is very dry before watering again, don't use the down to your knuckle technique. When your container feels light again it's time to water.

But the top ones ends are curling down
Stop worrying mate. It's green and it's growing, so you're doing something right.

The leaves will naturally want to reach up towards the light source, which in your case is very weak. Either try and invest in a proper CFL grow light (if you wanna stay CFL) or make a DIY CFL rig with LOTS of smaller household bulbs.

As for the leaves pointing down, as @Cyrus420 said it could be overwatering, which is most likely as you're a new grower under tiny lights, which won't dry the soil. Or, if you look at some photos of nitrogen toxicity, specifically clawing, see how it compares to yours.

Honestly man, we need more info. Medium? Pot size? Temp/humidity? Watering schedule? All help.

But, stop worrying. Water less (I do twice a week tops). Look at better lighting options. Check out @vostok for awesome CFL rig ideas. Man's a genius.

40litre? That's a big ass pot. The roots will just be trying to get a good footing, before trying to push massive leaf growth. Big fucking pot though! You know what strain you are growing? If its a photoperiod, you should start in a smaller pot and pot up as it gets bigger. Get you some nice dense footballs going on. The ladies love big balls.

Also, soil from Asda may be too hot for a seedling. I used a specialized light mix, and still got a touch of burn.

The soil will dry on top first, as that's the most exposed to the elements, and the heavy water will evaporate off/sink to the bottom. The pot does have drainage holes? Give it a lift, and feel the soil through the drainage holes.

Pound land do nutes :)

I can already see a new arm (cola) coming through on either side of the first nodes the new stem looks really fat and healthy and yes i have srainage holes my last plant was in a 100l toybox under a 600watt hps but i no longer have this equipment i had it sat in the middle of an empty room with the window open slightly no nutrients were used throughout its life it ended up over 6 ft tall and bushy as fuck the buds were near enough white covered in thc and that was my first grow think it was blues
