Cfl grow light fixture - need help

Well first of all let me start of lf by saying im a total dumbass at putting stuff together, making stuff, not very handy lol. What I'm trying to do is make a cfl grow light fixture for 4-6 bulbs. If somebody could just give me the most simple basic idea for one that even an idiot like me could do? Id appreciate it. Thanks guys.. Keep puffin

at least 4 23W bulbs for one plant. i have 14 bulbs on my fixture for a 2' x 3' scrog screen

I have 4 23watt cfls on one plant, 2 up top and 2 laterally and i rotate my plant 90 degrees every morning when i get up. then i use 2 in my clone box. also i found that using the daylight cfls are better for vegging and the bright whites are better for flowering. maybe a combination is best for flowering. idk havent tried it out yet. you can find everything you need at your local hardware store. good luck!!

just go grab a bathroom vanity fixture and you that as your base...

Buy a vanity light with a plug-in socket ( I don't think you have to worry about negative or positive when doing a single cord, Since not their not colour coated)... or. wire a power cord up to one. Get some splitters. I'm Using the power bar idea. with 3 plugin sockets. ( 1 plugged into bar, and the little extender with the 2 side plugins and pull chain, and plug in sockets on each side. 3 y-splitters for each socket. can get up to 12 bulbs.. 8 sideways, and 4 pointed down in the middle for good spread. you Only need the 3-y splitters for the 2 sockets. if your doing 1 plant. get 8 23w bulbs in their( little over 12,000 lumens) . and since their sideways give you more grow room! can get 2 smaller plants, or 1 grade A looking plant. Check out my grow if you want a cheap CFL grow idea. My plants are doing amazing! and just getting better with the more blubs I slowly upgrade.. next one tho. getting a HPS. Does not compare to cfl! almost get a 1/gram per watt with HPS! ( hard to do with cfl's its about 0.5g per real watt, MAYBE!)

I know this is not the answer your looking for but just get a HPS.

Wow... Go to Canadian tire.
Buy a power bar
Buy 6 cfls
Buy 6 "plug in socket adapter"
Buy duct tap or a small copper wall cord clamp to secure it.

consider a cheap batwing reflector with a mogul socket a 200 watt cfl bulb. whole shootin match for about $100. it'll save you a ton of time and energy.

Ebay,$123.00,400 watt,both bulbs,complete. Cheapie,but it does runs,quiet. Started with a few cfl's,kept adding bulb here,bulb there. 14 bulbs,plus hardware. Could of gotten a real brand name, 600 watt. Anyway, there is a hugh difference!! Use bulbs for seedlings and clones now. Should consider, if you can afford it now,you won't be dissappointed. I had a hugh smile when I first plugged it in. Good luck either way.
