CFL Growers

I'm a CFL grower i would love to upgrade but right now i don't have the space or the cash (i'm on my first grow).

I noticed in a couple of posts other CFL growers sort of trying to reach out and communicate, i taught it would be cool if we could maybe share advice and help out each other.

Plus i really want to know if any of you pulled off a decent grow with CFL

Yeah, you can pull off a descent yield with a full cfl setup, as long as you know what you're doing! I can't state specific yields, due to all the differing factors, like strain, nutes, grow method, etc., but like i said, the yields are rather descent, the bud ain't as dense as is you were to grow with HIDs, but it's still quality stuff!

if you're in the US, go to Home Depot or Lowes - go to the lighting section, and you'll find a "300w equivalent" CFL. they only have these in 2700k, but they are great for flowering. 68w, they are my best friend.

ima give it a shot, and depending if if the lamp can handle it, i may throw a MH buld in there also!

this is the one i want to use for the MH, but not sure if it can handle the wattage.

i got a couple of those 300w equvilent and a couple actual 42w along with 2 4' tubes and 2 2' tubes

holy crap that a the size of a palm tree..... thats just one plant? how old is that?
and do you just use it as a mother

well its my first and i veged for like a month- 2 months i didnt know its a bag seed. I tried to cloan but the 4 attempts didn't work.

about 3 feet from the top of the bucket and no nutes

hpw much are you expecting to yeild with that set up.

im interested in th cfl lights too, but im going to set mine up with a hydro set up

thats impressive. i got 3 17 inch girls and i have been vegging for a month now. did the plant double in size with the cfl?

yea it blew up heres pics from flowering till now dont know the exact dates tho but its been about 4 weeks

i think your asking jokerjocko cause if yours asking me i don't know how much the girls will yield. this was my first grow all i really expect is to learn as much as possible for the next grow...and of course a little quality smoke if i were to get an ounce each plant i ill be happy

same here im just doin this so i can save a lil money ya know? i would be happy with a half oz. really im goina go big on my next grow tho but im goina be using a differnt space

I've done a few very successful CFL grows. Hit an once per plant with no veg time on my first one. Check out the 388w grow in my signature. Could be helpful.

joker did your plant double in size during flowering with the cfl? and laced are you asking me or joker?

hey i wanted to jump in on this thread too. I am about 3 weeks into flowering my little girls.
Well they arn't so little anymore.
I've grown these babys under CFL's their whole life and they have turned out pretty good. Grew em under 4-4fts and added 2 150W and one 2ft later.
These plants have been through a lot because this is my first grow and didn't know anything but they should yeild a good amount.
What you guys think?

Yea man, if you get your setup done correctly you can get great yield and product from CFL's. That's all I use ATM.
