Cfl help please

I need some specific information about a complete grow using CFL'S.

There are many types of CFL'S at the store. Some are cool white, daylight etc. Some of the wattages are 42watt, 9watt etc.

Which CFL'S would be the best for the vegetation stage and which CFL'S would be best for the flowering stage? If it doesn't matter that's even better.

I've grown once before using CFL'S a few years back and got over 2-O's off 1 plant. It was about 6 ft when complete. I know all about the trich's (got my magnifier) and nutrients(doing same as last time) but I used all sorts of CFL'S during the grow.

I am trying to do one better this time and that's why I would like to hear from some more experienced CFL growers to inform me on which CFL'S would work the best. Please be as specific as possible so I can goto Home Depot or Lowes and find them easily. The watts/name(cool, bright etc) would be fantastic.

Thanks in advance for helping me out. It's been a while since I used this site and it was the reason my last grow turned out awesome.

This time I have 6 babies growing. If I can I might end up getting a HPS and being done with it. That's if I can find one on craigslist(no ebay for me) and the most important thing would be to have the extra $$.

If 4 or more turn out to be ladies then I am going with HPS for sure. Last time out of 4 only 2 were ladies and 1 of them died. Cross your fingers for me.....

you want Daylight (6500 K) CFLs for vegging and add some warm white when flowering.
The 42 watt ones are best but cost more per watt so I recommend 23 watts to start seeds then add more if you want big plants.

It's the same 400 watt but it's the convertible mh/hps.
