CFL lighting apparatus

Hello all, I have aquestion regarding apparatus for CFL lights. I was at home depot and I just couldn't figure out what kind of light fixture(s) to get for my CFL's. I will be using these along with my MH and HPS for side lighting. I will also be using some for veg and cloning in a seperate room once I get my rotation going. I'm psyched, got two secret rooms ready to go in my newly finished basement. By brother in law was completely stumped as to where the rooms were...but I'm getting ahead of myself. All I need now is to figure out my CFL's. I know you guys are very resourceful so bring on those ideas.

All most forgot to metion what I have CFLwise...I have 8 43 watts (equal to 150 watt @ 220 lumens 5500k for veg) and then I got 8 23 watt 2700k. I can get more CFL's if need be, money is no problem at the moment

Welcome to rollitup.org bro !
I would highly recommend the ten inch reflectors with the clamps at Home depot or at Lowes, for about $10 each. They are very portable an you can move them around real easy as the plant grows. AND when you start FLOWERING, you can put those bulbs so close you can stand back and watch them grow!

Hey Roseman thanks for the info. I will have to look into that. I also forgot to mention that my veging clone room is 4'x4' and the budding room is 5'x5' if this helps you answer my question.

Yeah I use the clamp lights with reflectors as well but you could get a vanity light that holds like 3-5 bulbs for cheaper if you can wire it.

Sorry Roseman I just noticed the date on the pics. Looks like you had some fun growing that batch. What is it if you don't mind my asking? I hope I can do half as well.

LOL at the avatar Gygax!

If your a DIY type of person, you can get the light receptacles at lowes for a couple bucks each. You'll need a reflector. Either adapt a commercial one or make your own from aluminum. I think Al B. Fuct has a tutorial somewhere on here on a very nice reflector.

I built my own for my veg cabinet out of computer case lids. Each one holds 1-100watt cfl and 4-23 watt cfls in mixed spectrums. My flower room fixture (made from 1" PVC with mylar reflector) holds 12-23watt cfls and 6-42watt cfls at 2700k.
