cfl lights

ok can someone please help me out by telling me how many watts of cfl light i need for a 1 square metre grow space, all the reading about cfl`s has blown my poor little brain. im doing a mother/clone/veg tent and a seperate tent(1000w hps) for flower. i have 2 250w cfl 8u lamps for the mother/veg tent,is that enough?

For veg you need a minimum of 40w.

listen, cfls can be used for every aspect of growing, not just veg,

i know people that have killer yeilds using cfls for veg and for bloom,

dont state to me " facts" that are not true,

Dude, your a fool. How you can say you rank higher than anyone else is a joke.

Yep, you can use CFL's for every aspect of a grow but you better just using them for vegging.

Flowering with CFL's is a joke, not powerfull enough at all.

Better off just biting the bullet and get yourself a HID setup.

Now iv seen that picture I MUST start using cfl's, i have been missing out for so long, Damn HID setup.

i got about 35g of that particular plant. it was 28" tall.6 colas. 4 cfl's

the plant in my avatar was conceived under CFL's....the yield wasn't as much as I could have got with a HPS, but it was hella potent and tasty. CFL's are a great starting point for a personal stash.

and there simple.
not everyone has the space or ability to run an hid setup with proper cooling

lol i wouldnt get them at walmart... try home depot they have a better variety.

how bout this one, I RANK HIGHER THAN YOU! AND YOUR WRONG.

The MINIMUM requirements for a decent CFL grow, Veg or Flower, is about
3000 lumen's per square foot. (more is very benifical)

1, 42Watt CFL puts out 2600 -2800 Lumens. As a rule i use one of these bulbs per sq, foot. And keep them real close to the plants.

Your big 250 CFL's should do very well. Just keep em as close as you can.
