1.5ft wide 4ft tall :) Theres no fan but a hole in the side & top so a nice amount of fresh air gets dragged in when the hot air leaves :)

no worries here. id hook the CLF into a grounded power bar to be safe. but it shouldn't be an issue at all safety wise. so long as your house has updated 3 prong outlets an not the old 2 prong.

Lol I figured it was something like that to be honest. But others might have thought different . But I have the same light and used to run all type of light cycles with it 24/0, 20/4,18/6,16/8, 12/12 ect lol its a good light for a small space but the bulb does put off heat if the space is not vented.

As a residential electrical professional from the standpoint of safety, as long as it is wired correctly and your wife's hairdryer isn't tripping the circuit, you are 100% safe.

As far as a 24/0 plant/light cycle, from experience, your plants will grow to have nodes closer together than if you go to 18/6 or equivalent. Turning the lights off will result in the plants growing vertically.

When i get a spare bit of cash ill buy a small fan :) The temps at 28c all the time & my plants r loving it :) I planted a seedling a few days ago & to see the difference between my plants that stretched and the seedling is amazing :) I always thought that you couldnt notice the stretch (Only my 2nd grow) Im still learning loads :) I cant see any nodes on my seedling & its second set of fans are coming through :) Ill try & upload a pic soon :) b5150 i would love to run 18/6 but i only hav 1 timer being used for the 12/12 room :) Soo im leaving them on 24/0 untill i get a timer :) Sound for the advice guys

Does any1 know how well a 125w CFL would cope being on 24/7? Saafe
should be completely safe bro besides the obvious dangers of everyday house hold fires. i got a 13w cfl in a cheap fixture with a clamp that i use for clones and keep on 24/7. 125 watts is going to use roughly 1 amp. most circuits can handle 15 or 20 amps depending on the breaker. just make sure your not running too many amps on the same circuit or it can be a danger.

if your using 240v it is a bit different though. in that case you would be drawing about .5 amps through each hot wire(red and black) but it still totals 1 amp roughly. most 240v breakers are either 30 or 40 amps. but each hot wire only carries half the current. 240v does not save you any money. i use 240v myself only so i can run all my lights in my flower room on the same breaker.

now HID ballasts that run 24/7, you should unplug for 15 minutes once a week. at least many instructions books say to do so.

why waste power having the light on for 24hr instead of 18hr
actually plants grow faster on 24/7 compared to 18/6. at least according to the growers bible i seen in another thread. i do 18/6 myself though cause i actually need my plants to grow slower or i end up with too many in my flower room.

Chears guys i broke that bulb 3 days after gettin it :/ Ive ordered a new 1 with a timer soo ill keep the mother on 20/4 as the dark period helps root growth :) In the 3 days i had the 125w i could tell the differnce between my plants on 18/6 & the plants under 24/0 The plants under 24/0 were alot bushyer & alot less stretch :)
