This is my first grow journal but my 4th grow. So far it's been better than the last three already. Any tips or suggestions are appreciated though.
I germinated 12 unknown bag seeds in some Chipotle napkins and all 12 sprouted within 2-3 days. I put the seeds in rockwool and in one of these http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=00C-000M-00008 until they sprouted. I put them in solo cups in last years dry ass Happy Frog (bad idea) and in a rubbermaid tote under 122 actual watts of 6500K and 5000K bulbs on 10/28. I ended up over-watering and lost half of them
. 11/5 I added anther bulb that brought the total wattage up to 134 and watered with low strength grow nutes. I got sick and didn't tend to them for about a week and ended up losing two more 
. On 11/19 I transferred the 4 remaining plants to plastic coffee pots and filled them with black gold potting soil and watered and fed them half strength nutes. I also moved them into the portable closet and brought the total wattage up to 230. On 11/26 I fimmed them, fed them full strength nutes and then dropped two fucking bulbs on one of the plants 
It broke but survived. 12/1 I watered and fed again. 12/2 I discovered a female preflower on one of the plants 
and yesterday I added three more bulbs to bring the wattage up to 299. Today I put a fly strip in the tent I saw some gnat looking things in there. No sign of sex on the other two tall ones and the broken one is just an experiment at this point.
So I'm thinking I'll veg for another 2 weeks since they're not that tall and so that I can take clones from my definite female.
Also I'll be setting up another tent next week to flower in.
I'm using Dynagro Protekt and Grow right now and I have Bloom for the flowering stage.
I probably left out a lot...any questions ask away.

good call on the fly strips as well 
if it gets to out of hand I would look into Safer 3-1 spray its OMRI keep on growing and don't forget have fun
