Ok so I was looking at the pictures of CFL growing and I saw that there was an adapter that let you plug the bulb directly into an outlet. Where do I find this adapter?

Also I would like to know if one 40w CFL bulb would be enough for just one plant?

All help is greatly appreciated!!

home dopot! there like 2 dollars. you usually want 100W for 1 plant. another 50W every plant after that. It will work but your plant will grow very slow and your end result will be very dissapointing. make sure you are using 6500k for the veg cycle and 2700k when it come times to flower.

I just picked up 8 of these for like $2.74 a piece or something and I snagged the two splitter adapters for like $4.97 or so. Just as a homedepot guy they were helpful!

If you could give the name or maybe product # from home depot, that would help.

I have been to lowes and home depot both and asked for the "y" splitter and got a confused look all 3 times.

Thanks in advance

My Y-splitter is 707-128-W and the "Outlet to Socket Adapter" is 707-61-WP. Both are made by a company called Leviton and I found mine in the electrical section of Home Depot. Right around where you'll find the ceramic AC sockets and dimmers/switches, etc. I just asked where the light bulb sockets are and he gave me perfect directions! Hope this helps!

lowes and home depot $2.50 , if you are using a total of under 160 watts you can plug two together and make a 3 socket. they are in the electrical aisle --u may also want to check out there "shop hanging fixtures" you will be shocked at how cheap they are--i use a 2 4 foot 80 watt total shop light w/ cfl's on the sides of the plants..its working good!
