CFL Stealth Box. Need some advice.

Alrighty so I posted a thred in the stealth/cab grow forum and someone told me I need more lumens for my box. The box is 2ft tall and right now only has one plant in it (an AK47 clone). I just cropped out one plant of Blue Mystic and got 9g of dried bud which people are telling me is very low for any plant so I'm thinking I need to upgrade my lights and a few other things. I went out and bought a larger air stone since my old one was very small and got plugged up a lot so this will make my resevoir a lot more aerated. I'm also building a scrog net since I had some issues with my plant stretching out. Basically I just wanna see what you guys think and give me some tips to increase my yield.

Right now I'm pumping a 2700k 1,600 lumens 23 watt and two 5000k 900 lumens bulbs.
I've got two small computer fans one for intake the other for out. I'll be making a DIY carbon filter for once I start flowering again since odor was an issue last time.
There's a small fish tank air pump in there but it's kind of noisy and stealth is my main priority here if I buy an actual hydroponic air pump is it going to be quieter?
I'm using Technaflora nutes. I bought there starter kit that comes with all kinds of nutes and feeding schedule and they seem to be working fine.
My resevoir only holds about 3/4 gallon of water..maybe less.

Here's some pics so you guys can see the whole setup. I'm mainly worried that my lights are too far and that I need more air circulation but space is my biggest issue. Any thoughts tips or advice are more than welcome as I'm a complete newb and this is only my second grow.

Drop those lights way lower about 2 to 3 inches above the plant. That is the only bit of advice i can give you. 9g is pretty damn small, If i was you go to home depot, lowes or even walmart and buy 2 27w CFL they cost i think 5 dollars for both and are 1750 lumens a piece. Add least than you can utilize those sockets. Don't skimp on the lights They are the corners stone of any Cannabis's balanced breakfast

haha right on man. Yeah I'm still trying to figure out the best way to drop the lights, I'm workin on it now cause I just noticed a couple seeds finally startin to poke their heads out of the rockwool, Sensi Kush. Thanks for the advice

I was very close to purchasing one of these boxes myself when I started considering a grow. I went with a tent instead and now in hindsight, I am glad I did. Not to say that there is anything wrong with them. I just would've outgrown it quickly. As I am sure you know space and height are the 2 main issues when considering lighting that cab. The best suggestion I can offer is HTG supply has cfl's that are designed for growing. They are larger than most cfl's but do a great job. I am pretty sure they will fit. Also, when planning a grow in that cab, I only considered auto-strains. I figued I could 3 at a time very comfortably in there, maybe more.

Good Luck and +rep for taking the leap!

Yeah when I purchased the box (I got it and everything I needed for like 200$) I knew pretty much NOTHING about growing I just knew I wanted to do it and since I had to move back to the rents house after the police decided to come bust a party at my old house I had to get something stealthy. When I move back out though I am definitly buying a tent and making my own bubbleponics system inside to grow a bunch more plants but I'll still keep the little box for some AFs like you said and yes I need to get some AFs for in there haha.

The lights are definitly my biggest issue and on Monday when I get paid I'm definitly going to be getting some higher wattage bulbs and I need to figure out a way to get those lights lower..I'm thinking I'm gonna buy some two way splits and hang them from the power strip and make it so I can adjust it as needed..sounds about right lol.

So I read a couple grows where they use the red/orange flowering spectrum bulbs throughout the life of the plants. Should I use all 2700k spectrum CFLs so my plants don't grow as tall since I'm short on room? Any thoughts?

alright so it's been a couple weeks and I have 5 seedlings that have popped up all about to start their second set of leaves but they seem to look a bit burnt the past day or so I'm worried I overfed them. Here's some pics lemme know what you guys think.

I have mostly 2700k in my room, I would say you need about 100 actual watts of light in there. So if you don't add up to that get more.

Also get those lights as close as you can, try and surround the plant in light I have mine about 1 inch away from the tops and then all around the sides pretty much in with the fan leaves, ( I cut off the ones too close as if they touch they will burn)

Maybe get yourself some strip lights in there, they would go great if you had 1 running down each corner ;)
