Right now I have it at 16" from the top of the tallest one. Heat does not seem to be the prob. Have an 8" centrif with a large carbon and passive floor intate floor openings at 3" x 2.... ?
Actually when they would get to close to the CFL's before the tops would burn so kept having to move them to about 3" away every day. They are 28 days into flower and very strong looking. The new seeds I spouted in rapid rooters were about 2.5"s tall and put the veg tubed t5 about 5"s from them and they fell over and died in one night so don't know what that was about eigther?
