So at a little more than a month of growth i had had "stretch" problems. In my quest to correct this problem i was led to L.S.T. (Low Stress Training) with a wrap around approach.

This is the Rough outline of the process i am trying to complete.

And these are the pictures of my progress.

Before L.S.T.

And after i Started L. S. T.

If everything works out it should fill out more and reduced the stretch effect that my baby has going on.

The soil:Regular organic potting soil
Lighting:2 cfl's for the time
Nutes: miracle grow pellets , and liquid plant food

Metal hangar pieces for restraints and support

Tell me what you think and i will keep you posted and reply accordingly

you should fill the pot up with more soil before l.s.t., seeing as how you could go weeks of growing only to see the lower growth fall off because you don't have enough light. strip off the lower branches, fill the rest of the pot up, then l.s.t.

the soil is only like 2 1/2 inches from the top of the tub. i wanted to have that space to help the bending. would that work out or should i still add more?

thanks for your input. i have 4 lights now actually so i thinik that should be well enough for 1 plant. i placed them about 2 inches away and i think that should do it right?? maybe?

I would think thats enough but the thing is your plant is extremely skinny. I would think it would be 3 times that thick at that tall.

yea i had a problem with stretching because not knowing what i was doing i had the light rather far away so it screwed it up

looks like your using an incondesent bulb! a plant that old should have more internodes and be around 4-5 inches tall by now.

well.. it turned out that my lst method wouldnt work due to the lighting that i had so i had to let my baby straighten back up. but now i have enough light and i am getting my 400 watt hps/mh light next week. soo for now i have 3 cfls for side lighting and 2 40 watt daylight tubes on top

My setup for now.

should this be enough to veg till i get my hps next week?

thanks
