CFL's and seedlings

Hey, this is my first time growing and I was wondering what amount of Watts I should use on seedlings (if I want to use CFL's). I already have a 400W High-Pressure Sodium bulb, ballast and reflector (for later on), but I wanted to start them off with CFL's. I'm just not sure what to use

i am using 23w 100eg softwhite and daylight mix right now trying to get my seeds goin

6000k -2500k get a mix of differnt watts 42s are opo. and so are 26 and even higher

I use a the same 6500k 23w bulbs I use for veg. I use the daylight CFLs from Lowes rated @ 100w. Seedlings love them! I put them about 1 1/2" away from tops to minimize the stretch!

100W equivalent CFL's is what I was originally going to get.
So that's a good idea?

right there is what i used...i had complete shit lights in comparison to the lumens these cfls put out and my shit sprouted kinda quick...check it out, my first grow too...

So i got two 23W CFL's
And yes, they are EXTREMELY bright!

I bet no girls masquerade with you.
I got 4 42w in a 1.5ft by 2.5ft by 4ft box and i feel your pain. Even though I see curly sunspots in my vision for the next couple hours after being in there its all for the ladies.
