man everything looks great to me. I don't know anything about mainlining but they sure look short and bushy. perfect for CFL growth imo.

i topped and then just pulled everything down and a few tall branches i 1/2 snapped so they would stay bent over and not need to be tied down and yeah everythings going great in another week i'm going to transplant and i'm getting a t8 light set up to hand over top for flowering and i'll move the cfls all over the place to have everything lit up!

Looking great to me. I would flower them at that point and it looks like you have a good amount of CFLs in there. :leaf:

Pretty much the same setup as me, works good but can't ever get the weight of stronger lighting I have learned. Probably 1/3 as much on average and I can't imagine an outdoor grow yet to do that would love lbs per plant instead of ozs. You should get about a half oz average with your lights. I have 418 watts and that is what I have been getting at eight weeks veg eight weeks flower

Can you get t5's instead?....more light,more efficient.

Looks good cfl's are very good for a a hobbiest growing for personal use they may not produce huge dense buds but they can produce some really nice bud when used properly and plants are trained rite.

For veg you want only 5000k or 5600k daylight bulbs and
for flower you want 8 of your lights to be 2700k and
the other 3 bulbs should be 5000k or 5600k.
Both kinds are $10 for 4 bulbs per package at Home Depot.

You will have much better results. Otherwise your
plants look awesome.

i have 2700k ones in there right now because when i was making my new grow room i nocked my lights off and every one of my 6500k ones broke except 1:/ so i raided my house and found enough lights for the time being aha and thanks !

No HO T5 blow away T8. T5 bulbs put out more wattage and PAR. You have a computer and the internet so yes you can get T5 lighting but to each there own, CFL works great. I do have a 48" 2 bulb T8 in my grow closet but it is just for side lighting I would not do a full grow on all T8 you would need way to many to equal the output of CFLs or T5s.

For veg 6000K to 5000K is great and for flower 2500K to 3500K is great, you want more red in flower to either do all reds (2500K-3500K) or a 3-1 ratio of reds to blues.

Cfl's work, but if and when you go to a better light setup
you will see much larger plants at 3 months.

Nice grow, but if you can, reward your work with more
intense lighting.

i'm thinkin of either doing the t5's or getting a 400watt hps to go along with my cfls i'm not quite sure yet this is my first grow so i'm kinda just fucking around with random things like lst, supercroping, mainlining, cloning along with my nutes and lighting just figuring everything out, next year i'm getting a 8X8 baby barn and growing a whole crop in there hopfully! but for now its slow and steady!

looks real good, im on my 2nd CFL grow, just cropped out a mini bonsai bagseed, got about 15 g's off it of nice sticky fuel smelling bud. I now have a bunch of fem seeds going under a 2 bulb t-8 and 21 cfl's. 23 watt each. Growing 2 autos, a big bang, northern lights, white widow, the church, a sour diesel, and some bagseeds. As long as u train the plants good and keep the lights close, |CFL works awsome, although after this harvest i will be switching to a 400w hps/mh setup and supplement with the CFL's. my closet is 3x4x7.5.
Good luck with the grow.
